Agreed. Kind of curious regardless of the scenario; I'd expect town!Ranger to be offed by scum, and I'd expect scum!Ranger to off Enchant.

I don't see why it would be obvious to scum that town!Ranger's claim yesterday was fake, as Gimli is saying? Even if she were lying about the specific target she might still have been a cop and would still be a good target.

Can't make up my mind what this actually means for Ranger's alignment. At first I thought the change of claim looked damning but I was also predisposed to see her as scum so could be confbiasing there. I have to think about it more.
