why
Because the only difference between a bogus attack and one rooted in terrible reason is only determined by how "good" a player is at the game. Which is extremely subjective.

Bogus is to say that I do not believe what I am saying. Day 1 intros are sometimes extremely awkward for scum. Feels like T3 seen an easy route to intro then leave for a bit. As opposed to me who was still going to be around to interact.

Why do I have to build on a joke vote?

Exactly. You seen an opportunity that validated your lack of interaction and took it. What have you done so far except interact with the guy who's pushed you?

Zero ppl here are pushing you based on my argument yet you still have not commented on anything but this.

Which is my whole point.

Sorry, I meant to ask you :D (and to quote #105).
I'm on my phone, and it seems it got a little too crowded on my screen to notice the mistake, my bad!
Nothing from them has pinged me negatively, thus far. I think bri may be jumping to conclusions, but we'll see how that goes. As for redFF, I get where he's coming from, even if I'm agnostic on Tchill's alignment at this time. I'd say bri is still at null, redFF maybe leaning slightly town.

How about you? Any reads you'd like to share?

@DV: Why is Mala scum? Is there anyone else who is, as well?

Looking at Mala's posts so far, we have and which are each just throwing light shade at individuals without really furthering the discussion or demonstrating any signs of active thinking about the issue.

The most that we get out of Mala is in which is an oddly detailed explanation of their thought process on a trivial vote in response to a question, particularly considering that Mala has chosen to not share much in the way at all in regards to her reads or thoughts on the game implied in their earlier posts.

As for who else, tchill might(?) be scum. I'm not convinced yet, as the ongoing posting about the issue could (in my mind) be stubborn townie rather than caught scum. I am still thinking on it.

Fwiw I didn't particularly think that College was scum.

Idk what else to say other than that was my thought process ^
Well the only thing of substance Mala has provided was in response to being questioned. Not a good look.

this is a dumb argument that's not worth debating.

i think mala is playing into her scum meta but i'm not sure yet - i recently modded a game and mala replaced a scum slot and kinda just rolled over and died

Ok, so uh, I’m not playing into any meta right now.

The game is still early on, I’m not posting because I haven’t really had time and there’s not much going on.

But free feel to push this stupid argument based off a game about a year ago. I have had three town games and one scum game since last year and if you bothered to look my game in general has had a meta switch

I kinda get what you're getting at with the whole argument that you're making. Would I necessarily scum read him from his joke vote on the mod? I don't know. He could have simply said hi then announced his V/LA, but it's subjective for his reasoning but he hasn't done anything of note since his return so he really isn't exactly doing himself any favours.

So if I was to take a side in this whole debate, I'd probably be alongside you in this debate because at least with your joke vote on the mod, you've been pressing the interaction, possibly longer than it should have been, but you've not been on this entirely. T3 is kinda trying to brush it off, I feel.

But I wouldn't necessarily say for certain that he is scum for it, though. Or you for this matter.

It seems we won't just simply get over this random vote topic :/ The underlying question is, as I understand it, is whether modvotes are worse than regular random votes. If they are, then T3's start was bad, and possibly scummy. Even though I've seen some arguments here why that vote was completely okay, originally I was of the same opinion as Tchill (but now I'd say it's not a tell). In any case, this discussion is less about the gamestate and more about what I'd call "advanced theory", and I doubt it can bring us far. Shifting the discussion to the presentation and changes in the arguments would be more fruitful imo.

My list on page 3 was ordered from mafia to town.

College, DEB and Flippy are obviously town. I don't want to present any arguments here, but if you vote them, you need an absolutely unassailable case for that, as far as I'm concerned. DV has been proactive town, I really like their play, and KK doesn't make sense to as mafia. These are my townreads.

My scumreads (including lean-scum) are bristep, Mitillos, redFF and Mala, in this order. RedFF's and bristep's utter refusal to understand Tchill's posts is baffling to me, I think it introduces a kind of chaos mafia wants during the day. Bristep's piggyback is an especially bad look. Mitillos is super sus, I'm happy with my vote where it is. Mala's concerning, she's being way more passive than expected, but we'll see, my read on her is fairly weak.

The rest is roughly null atm.

Alright. Enough people have at least acknowledged and slightly agreed with me that I'll begin to expand on other players a little.

I will say t3 is obv awkward scum. T3 has not done anything even after getting back. I'll be rereading the thread to focus on others though...

I don't think this is a genuine reaction. DEB and CCGeek were on the opposite ends of the list from the very beginning, so why raise this point now? Besides, by that time everyone was distinct gameplay-wise.
