If you go back and check my take on RVS and early game in general, they are strong maFilosophical differences, so that naturally is going to put us on different sides early, and I wouldn't want to use just that as a reason ever to solely justify said vote.

You then went on to push it as fully NAI, which is also fine.

Then the Theta push and the 'needing of logic and reason'.

It seemed a bit hyperfocused on that, and while I think it's fine to want it, the way you almost stress it this early in the game while doubling down you wanted to move out of RVS is a little contradictory.

For instance, I felt the urge to vote there prior to being able to fully explain it, and even now, I don't think it's a strong reason nor an actual reason you would be scum for. But that doesn't invalidate the way I'm vibing with it.

For what it's worth, I could have just as easily went Red, i just remembered Delta's name more at the time, and felt it'd be better there.

I'm not certain of the read or anything.


On the flipside, with Mewtaph, I feel a lot of the questions they've asked make sense, and have actually helped the game progress. They brought up Theta feeling town, but really it's NAI, which is kind of where I sat in regards to Theta. People who were pushing Theta were pushing them for reasons I believe are big NAI, and while I can see townies doing it, I think scum are just as likely to hop on it. At least one.

Damage control is you immediately came in and tried to derail my Night Action. Not just 'not buying it' you actively posted in a way to derail. This automatically protects the players who got caught targeting Bulge.

I caught out Enchant here when they claimed their Investigative role because I knew there wasn't another type of action there.

They realized something afterwards, and retracted it thereafter.

I chose Flippy as the second of my Watcher gambit because I hoped they'd know I was up to something and go along with it.

I was going to try and get Doctor Drew to do this for me, but they claimed super early even though I put them in the second group for that reason.

For the record, I have pulled this Watcher gambit at least 2 other times as town, and neither time was I a real Watcher.

You can see my clear thought process with why I chose now to play with it with the perfect Voyeur action, and low page count Day 1.

If I end up going today, there is 100% scum in the people who went against it, there always is. It's probably not every person, and oddly, I think Delta is town, he's just fun to mess with. Totally backwards on a lot of analysis, though.

I share the same sentiment, although I did enjoy this playing out here, and like the role itself as a function, but agree that it doesn't feel Normal.

I like it, for sure, but it does just feel like something that you shouldn’t/couldn’t expect in a Normal game, and is a little whacky.

However, that could just be because it hasn’t hit site meta. And if it was more regular, maybe it could be expected. But that goes into not wanting a lot of traitors in meta anyways on a personal level, I guess.

There was a time years back where there were like 3 scum + traitor in a 13 player game, and it just creates annoying game days with setups that town feel overpowered to compensate.
