Rules

General

• The site-wide rules apply in the game thread and any other threads directly related to the game.

Voting, Eliminations, Death

• For a vote to be counted, it must be in vote tags, like so: VOTE: sheepsaysmeep or VOTE: sheep. Pls no bold. Don't hide votes in spoiler tags.
  
• Nicknames with a clear indication of the user being referenced are acceptable.
  
• Unvotes can be used in the form UNVOTE: sheep or UNVOTE: . They are not necessary when switching votes.
  
• An elimination will occur when a player receives a majority, more than half, of the votes of living players. When this has happened, any subsequent votes and unvotes will not be counted, and night will begin as soon as I have declared the elimination. Posting after an elimination but before I resolve the day phase is discouraged but allowed.
  
• "Sleep" is a valid option as a vote instead of a player (no elim).
  
• In the event of a deadline passing without a player gaining a majority of votes, there will be no elimination.
  
• Once you're dead, you are dead. No "bah" posts sorry

Activity & Deadlines

• Prods will be issued after 48 hours in a row without game-related posting (no "prod dodge"). The need of a prod after the third may result in force replacement at my discretion.
  
• If a player does not respond 24 hours after receiving a prod, the player will be substituted unless the player can appear before a replacement is found.
  
• If you will be on V/LA, let me know in advance. V/LAs for longer than a week are not accepted.
  
• Days will have a 10 day deadline.
  
• Nights will have a 2 day deadline. If a night action is not submitted, the player will not do anything.

• Any private threads begin the game open during the day.

UB only works on allied roles, meaning scum UB only inherits scum roles and Town ub only inherits town roles
That way you can't get scum vigs and Town strongmen

UB inherits the role, backup "activates" when the role dies. So UB has the previous roles' shots while the role specific backup has only whatever the backup role specifies
