You are informed of an active role with at least one target that isn't X-shot (or modified with a similar modifier) that exists in the game. You are considered to have command over that role.

Each day (or night including pregame if you have command over a day role), you may send out an order for that role, choosing that role's targets. You may not order a role to not act. Anyone receiving such an order may obey the order and target the chosen targets, or may disobey the order and not act.

Mod Note: If no order is sent or the Captain's action fails, a role may act normally. The Captain action is untargeted. Factional abilities are not affected.

Reroll this role if no roles are eligible for Captain.

This role is called a Governor (night action variant), a Lawyer would be a role that makes people investigate as Innocent (as if they were Town-aligned) to cop-like investigations, and the 1-Hit modifier would count a hit if someone has investigated your target.

Each night, you may target one player to force them to bodyguard another player of your choice. If the player they're bodyguarding is targeted with a kill, the bodyguard shall die in their place. If either of those players are not town-aligned, you shall die.

Alignment up to mod discretion. If this game is being played on Mafiascum.net, the game starts on Night 0. If this game is being played anywhere else, the game starts on Day 1.

Grand Idea Mafia has been played on other forums. I found a thread once on a not-Mafia forum that was like the 10th whatever of it. Pretty cool but I forgot what site it was. They had a warning that the Grand Idea Mafia thread might contain some foul language.

Each night, you may target a player to learn if the moderator dislikes their role as a moderator or not. You will always be Reliable no matter what.

This ability cannot be interfered with in any way whatsoever, that is, it will always target its intended target, will always succeed, and will always have its intended effect.

Mod Note: This is entirely subjective and may differ from each game.

Infallible is a modifier designed for Triplicate Action Resolution. Infallible actions are immune to targeting prevention (anything that prevents targeting altogether, e.g. Commuter), targeting manipulation (redirection, anything adding additional targets), action prevention (blocking), effect prevention (protection, anything that causes you to perform a different action on your target), and effect manipulation (anything that alters how your ability works, e.g. Miller).

Third-Party Doomsayer

You leave the game in victory if you correctly Doom three players.

At night you can attempt to speak the doom of three players. PM the moderator their role names. If you get all three names correct, then you will kill them all and leave the game in victory.
Mod note: Doomsayer does not need to kill all three players successfully, but they need to guess all three role names correctly on the same night to win.

Third-Party Baker

- Target someone at night to give them a loaf of bread. Anyone who visits a player with bread will know that their target possesses bread. You appear to have bread.
- Once three living players have bread, you will transform into Famine, Horseman of the Apocalypse.
- If there aren't enough players left alive for three of them to have bread, you will leave the game in a loss.

You win if you are the last player alive. You lose one-on-one endgames, since you can't kill.



modnote: do not rand this rolecard in your game. this is a supplemental rolecard.
Famine, Horseman of the Apocalypse

- Upon your transformation, the mod will send a message to the thread confirming a Famine has befallen the town, and explain the basis of your role.
- All players without bread have been poisoned the night you transformed, and will die at the end of the next night if you are not eliminated.
- You are no longer able to be nightkilled for any reason whatsoever.
- You may target someone at night to starve them, which will act like a Poisoner (kills them the next night). This poison is cancelled if you die.

You win if you are the last player alive. You win one-on-one endgames now, since you can't conceivably die first.

The hopeful timeline is this:

Night 3.
You give your third target bread, and transform. Town has one day to find you without being forced down to a 4p MeLO situation.
Night 4.
Everyone except your three bread targets and you die. You starve one of the other players. They now need to find you out of 4 people. One of them will die. It's up to you to make sure that you don't die and that your starved target doesn't die, otherwise you lose or they'll get another chance to find you.
Night 5.
You starve another person. If they eliminated your last starved target or no-eliminated, now you're in a 3p ELO. If they miseliminated or no-eliminated, you'll endgame the other player. Congratulations.

If you incorrectly guess that player's role card, your flip will be posted into the game thread and you will permanently lose this ability. This ability is treated as untargeted for all purposes.

I am very unsure if the
Coven
from Town of Salem 2 is even a worthy faction. If not (likely the case), this role and Coven Leader will be reworked to be
Werewolf
-aligned roles.

Also, I will point out that the Ritualist's ability assuming a correct guess is a Force of Nature, which is intended to be completely unavoidable (as a Force of Nature is effectively both strong-willed and untargeted, in a Triplicate Action Resolution game a Force of Nature is both indirect and Meticulous) and would even ignore death negation from roles like Famine or Peaceful Archon.

Reroll, but give this card a night restriction.


If the card has no night restriction, the mod randomly chooses between even-night or off night and gives it that. If it does, the mod inverts the night restriction. For instance, an even-night role becomes an odd-night role and a night 2 role can act/be active on every night except night 2. Give the card a night restriction even in situations where it doesn't make sense, such as on vanilla townies.
