1) Hit up Marnie and buy one chicken. Provide it with love and affection.
2) From there, head to the mines and see what we can accomplish. We're currently in the dark zone, starting at level 35.

We stopped by Marnie's while she was behind the counter for what I think was the first time? Here's what she has for sale. She won't offer us animals unless we have a place for them to live. Right now, with a basic Coop, we can only safely house chickens.

Still, we made out pretty well. After sorting our fish and keeping one copy of anything we were missing, we ended up selling fish (and a Rare Disc that Gunther already had) for

Some notes on the chickens:

1) Ideally, we should feed them every day.
- On clear days, we can open the coop up and let the chickens out; they'll eat grass. We can either leave the doors open constantly, or open/close them as needed.
- On rainy days, they won't leave the coop. We'll have to feed them hay, or let them do without food. If we have Robin build us a

Silo

, we can cut grass to make hay at the farm.

2) We can pet the chickens once a day. They enjoy the attention!

3) Once grown, the chickens will start laying eggs daily - as long as they're happy and well-fed. We can collect the eggs and do whatever we want with them.
