I suppose the overall goal is to figure out who the masons are so we can shoot those folks.

I don’t offhand, have a clue how to do so. I’m pretty bad at spottin’ power roles.

I tend to chat with everyone. If I can get away with it.

My scum game has/had problems but it’s almost always related to coming up with people to push or sudden drops in activity.

So I’ll try to create the conditions where I’m just cheery and chatty and keep who I want to eliminate in a realistic way in mind. To push back against those weaknesses I figure me keeping me happy is the key to having a good game.

It’s pretty normal for most of my posts to be contentless. As town especially, but I still feel like I’m being a bit too aimless. I’m not doing bad though. Most I could hope for.

When a player hits critical mass on town reads, I usually do a 180 of it as a joke. Don’t ask about it.

It was gratifying to see Bulge look at who was on Shadi's wagon and while having no opinion on Shadi themselves, refuse to join because he felt confident there was scum on it.
I was too scared to comment on it because I was afraid of tipping the scales. What I say tends to vary in terms of weight in a way I'm not confident in.
Sometimes I think something I saw is going to be super persuasive and it falls flat, other times I make a nothing comment and suddenly everybody is fixated on it.

My general game plan is to try to pivot this wagon to Shadi if I can’t get or see an opportunity to get it on a townsperson.

Then leverage that effort and convince people you aren’t scum and try to get someone else killed the next day. I’ll criticize either of you if I see something though.

I don’t think Shadi’s current deal is going to be able to shake off his pursuers unless they discount him for something specific.

If Ari and Katya are both not masons, then I’m going to end up with them based on the current game trejectory. I don’t find myself confident I can squeeze that through. I need one more partner alive. With an earlier time squeeze.

I don’t have much confidence in my perspective here. I’m not really sure what’s working and what’s not in the town’s eyes for you two, but I’ve seen you slide past or shrug off people, which I haven’t seen from Shadi. Or at least I think I’ve seen that.

I think Mala/Dunn are just sitting in their lawn chairs and trying to let the game develop and poke around on the side lines and maybe jump in if they don’t like how something’s going. They don’t have the same need to come up with reads and then immediately push them so they can focus on things like game atmosphere and ensuring enough information is generated to win the game overall.

What I’m trying to say is that, it’s not that they don’t have opinions or reads, so much as they aren’t as pressed to do something with them. They might be inclined to kill you or shadi, but they don’t need to act or communicate that rn.

Yeah, there’s a lot to improve, but it seems like having a slight attitude shift toward being scum has helped. But every game’s a new game so we’ll see if I can carry forward some of the strengths I showed her and ditch some of the weaknesses.
