I think it might make sense for us to use the mechanics of this game where instead of eliminating a player pair - we simply do not vote to eliminate and instead in the pairing part of the game we pair to make a double elimination desirable.
for example if I were to remain convinced Klick is mafia by the end of this phase - I would like to dance with him so I can yeet him myself and if he flips mafia I would like Cakez to follow next
Actually, this isn't exactly the worst idea.
This could get the scum killed faster. VOTE: no lim

Nolim is lame and I'd rather not do it. I agree with Dannflor that even if mechanically optimal in an ideal world, the effect it'd have on the gamestate would ultimately give us less info and it'd be at best neutral overall (plus we waste a week of time waiting around)
if we decide to go with my plan,
it would be effectively deciding to eliminate me and Klick
which is two eliminations in 7 days
and faster than most games go?
But we'll be spending those 7 days not voting and waiting for you guys to die
It's not just pure time spent, it's also how productive that time will be, and I know it won't be as productive as it would be if we just decided to go for a lim

is yessire a villlager for wanting to go against no-elimination?
I have no real idea.
I can see a townie who wants a lim to provide potential VCA.
I can also see scum who realises that Ari's strategy is bound to force scum into pairing in the swing phase while minimising the amount of scummy players to hide behind.
IMO, if they think Cakez/Klick could be aligned, wouldn't it be better to get them to pair together or force them to not get paired?
Because that way, both their SRs are dead in a single shot.

what alignment do u think they are
Cakez seems to be playing nice, which is unexpected. Maybe I'm overthinking this but I'll put him at nullscum for now.
Klick is null. Doubling down is questionable behaviour given they claimed their Ari read wasn't serious. However, they did tell me in our PT that it was because they thought the conversation could lead to reasonable content.

i didn't like ari's strategy because it allows people to simply tag along to a predetermined consensus on the lims instead of committing to voting for the lim. I think voting naturally tends to produce more meaningful content that can still be relevant in later days, even if the consensus is on the most scummy players right now
i see its merit, i just dont think its the move. i think this is one of those computer chess moves that is optimal if you play perfectly optimal, i dont think humans play perfectly optimal every move
not sure what you mean by minimizing the amount of scummy players to hide behind?
As in we're likely to leave the scummiest players behind in the swing phase.
So scum has to avoid being among the most SRed in order to survive.
Though, I see your point.
And I did forget to consider scum could always be one of the widely TRed players, who don't need to hide behind anyone.

Not sure yet.
Everyone's reads this game seems to change half the time.
Which is why I initially didn't consider scum to be in the group of unsuspected people.
Like I feel like you're probably town.

I feel like you're right that Drew is scum here.
The alternative is that this is a new playstyle but I have no idea why he'd want to go for a scummier playstyle when his usual one was just fine.
I assumed this was just a typical lovers setup with some extra bells and whistles(lol Jingle, definitely not undermining your setup, just best quick way I can describe it).
But is it possible for both dance partners to be scum?
