There was a very slight mod error this game, in that I accidentally gave Ydrasse/Ausuka two dance threads on D1. This did not affect the game.

I enjoyed watching. Can't lie and say I would've preferred a closer game, but town played a really strong game of obvtowning at each other after a bit of a rocky start and scum was unfortunately all on the 'lazy game' track which didn't help them interfere. I think I underestimated exactly how strong being able to repair was here, but I don't think a different ratio would be significantly better overall.

I haven't quite decided what I'm going to mod next, but I have a reviewed large normal and a couple of different theme games and I'll probably throw one in the queue later today.

There was a dead PT and you weren't added because I let dead scum players continue to talk to their team instead. It is a thing I feel to be positive fun for the scumteam overall and very small on balance changes.

i did not expect Drew to explode on us like that
not saying it would've significantly impacted the outcome had he not done that, but i basically found out i was dead before i could even do anything

wrt the setup being able to change partners removes like … most of what makes dance games intriguing imo because you have to normally deal with poor choices in endgames etc

being able to kill two people may have helped if the setup was bigger but idk.

Interesting. Full disclosure, the setup was because Nancy Drew asked me to make a Swing Dance setup a little before she was banned and I decided to just go ahead and run it.

I could see making the (deal with the consequences of your actions) aspect being brought back by making the setup larger and not allowing duplicate pairs. (once Klick and RH9 have paired, Klick and RH9 may never be paired again. If they're both obvtown, well, it sucks to suck.) That'd maybe help with the problem of just putting obvtown together too, since you wouldn't be able to repair them late.

i think that it would help a lot for this setup because otherwise town just keep pairing with the same people and mafia have no great tools beyond like… somehow getting them voted out (which duh they should be doing lol but nightkill exist as a tool in other setups etc), and with more pairs/choices it would feel better as well. i’d be interested in replaying the setup i think if it had tweaks

i think the setup is mostly fine besides some numbers tuning, town just played extremely well obvtowning and correctly townreading each other. With a performance like this scum is gonna struggle in any setup

id maybe like to start off everyone unpaired and add a pregame phase for the initial pairing, so there's some strategy involved instead of RNG

This game was sweet, a pretty good example of how a town can make themselves known to each other early

I actually was trying to act Lim baity, but kinda worked myself into a shoot and got frustrated I was being scum read haha.

My plan was to get me limmed anyway, and then forgot I could just leave the dance lol.
