V/LA is vacation/limited access, a player can declare when they're planning to be inactive for a period of time due to IRL constraints so they won't get prodded/replaced for inactivity by the mod. in theory a player could claim that for an excuse to lurk as mafia, but in general we're going by the honor system to trust that someone won't declare they're on vacation just so they won't have to post.

(also lurking in this setup isn't even beneficial for scum, you need to actually say things to get townread)

there were a couple of people in thread who were reading you as town although i don't know if any would have pulled the trigger on the trust. in general, though, the setup will often come down to town having to find who is town among the players most difficult to townread, so i agree that was a clutch play by drew.

The interaction with Sky really soured me on them, did not see the real town motivation from that.
