Anyone else watching the UFO hearing today? Anybody hold any weight in any of the whistleblower's statements?

Honestly it's interesting to follow but I'm obviously kind of skeptical. It'd be cool if aliens like came down from the stars and saved us all or something but it's mostly just a thing that's fun to think about for me.

I have a lot of friends into conspiracy theories and I don't think I've ever seen a thread here about them. One of my friends is very into Bigfoot which I don't really buy into but yeah. Her dad just told me that he thinks LBJ had JFK assassinated because LBJ is racist.

Maybe I'll drop some of my unhinged conspiracy takes later :)

I actually took a really interesting class in college that was ENTIRELY about JFK Assassination Conspiracy Theories.

I think your Secret Service agent theory is a strong one, especially because it neatly explains why there was such a massive cover-up. The other leading ones (Cuba, the Mafia) doesn't give the government any motive to go through any lengths at all, let alone the amount of lengths required to cover it up if it happened.

Something about it being out of LBJ's hands or something when he signed it. It was kind of refreshing to hear some woke shit, I knew he was into conspiracies and he's a 70 year old white man from the south so I thought it'd go in the opposite direction.

If another civilization visited earth they would not send living crew. Living crew is foolish and symbolizes things that don't need to be symbolized. Humanity is outgrowing the fratboy idea that you should definitely play hard mode and send living crew. Hoaxers are projecting this idea onto other civilizations even though we are learning truths of computer science and engineering that demonstrate we can accomplish everything you would want out of a scouting mission without using carbon based life forms and there are intuitive disadvantages for carbon based life forms traveling zillions of miles. Even if they are overcomable, why do it?

It's like hearing an out of touch stepmother accuse her stepson of playing Xbox even though he is grounded by saying she found fibers from his socks on the Xbox controller and that's how he was playing it.

Sending a cell culture or something on the spacecraft would make like a little sense maybe but the clip of theatre I heard was playing into the tiny green men fantasy

I've read about life from environments with much more or less energy being correspondingly faster or slower. Is that what you mean?

I'm not a big fan of conspiracy theories. Most often these topics are spread by people who are sick in the head, but in general, if you approach each theory constructively and analyze it qualitatively, it makes sense.

how bogus is the conspiracy theory i keep seeing that israel/netanyahu empowered hamas in order to undermine more moderate/effective organizations in palestine?
