The question of whether or not to eliminate D1 comes up often amongst players from other sites and has sometimes been a bit of a hot topic.

I'm willing to discuss the question in detail with you if that's something you're interested in

But generally, the consensus amongst players on MS is that eliminating D1 is better for villagers than not-eliminating. The Villagers only have so many chances to eliminate Mafia, and no-eliminating D1 wastes one of those shots.

How is Titus scum? She very explictly said she cannot post in ANY of her games until Sunday (which is already Sunday for me but for her it's probably Sunday morning in 10 hours if I have my timezone correctly).

There's no rush. We still have a player that hasn't even played yet. If you are town then you should get information by questioning people and figuring out the motivations behind what they are doing. You're going to get less information fading someone this early than you would if you just let conversation play out

The only time I've ever seen a page 3 hammer on this site was when a player self voted and dared anyone to hammer him, following which another player decided it was a good policy lim and hammered fully knowing it was a hammer.

This just shows that Black has many enemies in this game.

Predictably, those same three players were also in the first iteration of the Black E-1 wagon.

You have an advantage in this wagon analysis over some other players because you know yourself as town.

Yea and if you look at their previous conversation under the light that DE7 shows (potential distancing) The shift in the way they converse after being called out for potentially distancing, with dann instead of suggesting klick could be scum, now is "klick is town but I'm keeping it to myself trust me bro" definitely feels extremely sus

I agree that he's not doing much solving, but I think that's likely because he doesn't yet know how to solve. One person makes a case. That sounds good to Neko, and he agrees with it. Person cased makes a rebuttal. That sounds good to Neko, and he agrees with it. He's just going on feels, because he doesn't yet know how to look for motivations.

Or look at it this way. Neko's all over the place. I believe scum have daytalk. If he were scum, his partner would probably be coaching him to some extent, and his game wouldn't look so wild. The exception to this is if Titus/Kawaii is scum, since they weren't around at first to coach him.

So, logically I think Neko is town. Yeah, the thought that he's just playing deer in the headlights has crossed my mind. But I don't think that's the case.

I've come to the conclusion that trying to sort people out before the first flip is going to be impossible for me, given that I don't know anyones playstyles, so i'm just gonna reset all of my reads to neutral and not try to read anyone before the first flip because I don't have a baseline to compare to

"Resetting reads to neutral" doesn't really feel like something I would be able to do as town. Even without prior knowledge of playstyles or anything, there are just going to be people you should find less or more likely to be scum/town

Not at all, 90% of this day 1 is just "They acted like this in this scum game" and at this point I legitimately have no reads on anyone because most of it relies on knowing each others playstyle and metaing the shit outta them

My first thought was fakegod was an immediate obvious scum given how fast kawaii came out to defend them, but kawaii also came to my defense, so i'm uncertain on that read. I was gonna say klick unlikely scum, but they also died.

Since people (FakeGod in the post Kawaii quoted) are apparently upset about the page 2 wagon still, I am going to say that I think if Black is town then that actually makes Sky a whole less towny in my eyes (my read on Sky was basically "null but unpartnered with Black") and probably the scummiest person on Black's wagon, over Klick.
