I highly doubt that Bermuda qualifies as a monarchy here. Unless it's like a country in its own right and not an overseas territory of the UK (I actually have 0 idea), and then it's a monarchy in the same way Canada is a monarchy.

Also, could it possibly be LIFE (as kinghood is generally a for-life thing) or DECK (because Q,K are Queen and King)?

I think Deck is a serious strech. Wouldn't it be easier to just do "king" or "queen" for Deck?

Life is interesting, I also thought of that, but I dunno.

RE: China, I am not sure how China was classified but well, it WAS a monarchy ruled by an emperor. Do maybe it's Beijing after all.

I'm fine with doing grace though.

My guess choices for apple would be

Round - Apples are round.
Mouth - Apples goes through inside the mouth for eating.
Worm - Worms like to eat apples and I see kids drawing of a worm being inside an apple.
Poison - Snow White ate a poisonous apple.

NEW YORK is known as the Big Apple.
POISON - apples aren't normally poisonous, but Sleeping Beauty did prominently feature a poisoned apple.
WORM - I have this classic image stuck in my head of a worm coming out of an apple that I can't quite place ...
MOUTH - what you'd eat an apple with.

Apple could also refer to the company responsible for Macs and iPhones - but I'd be hesitant to approach too strongly from that direction. There are too many cell phone friendly words out there, and the clue wasn't iPhone.

I'm most confident with NEW YORK. Especially given that lilith's location is listed as New York.

Yeah, it's a very common nickname (at least for New York City itself). Heck, my wife was watching a baking show yesterday where the term came up.

Question is, how should we order our guesses here? Both of us came up with the same sort of images. (I at least considered ROUND when writing up my list, and would have included it if the clue was APPLE 4 or more.)
