Just so everyone is fully aware (I know this site has some coding experts given how well coded it is for a mafia forum so this isn't to inform them but others):
Riot Vanguard is a CCP-endorsed rootkit you willingly install into your PC that is granted the highest possible permissions and access you can give to a program.
If you've been playing Vanguard in the past 3-4 years you've already corrupted your system and it has such high access it can pretend to uninstall while still having the backdoors to your system wide open for malefactors to spy and do worse.
I just want you all to fully know this. It isn't some overreaction by paranoid types, this is the reality of the situation. Choose your decision to keep playing LoL wisely when the update that mandates installing Vanguard comes to you, it can do A LOT more than just stop cheating and will run from the start of your PC to shutdown. You can stop the driver in theory, forcing you to restart your PC if you want to play Riot Games Vanguard and/or LoL but don't be mistaken; this is a rootkit malware in every single sense of the term minus the sense there's proven spying and hacking going on yet (which can't be proven because of the ring-0 Kernel access it will have).

There is literally no limit. The access Vanguard gives them is both the highest spyware level AND the highest hijacking level. They can make you send things from your computer to get you detained/arrested/anything. They can leave backdoors open somebennif they don't use it, if they ever slightly got hacked or had an inside job, that bad actor has full access to every keystroke and mouse movement you make and can basically know everything you do.
