in the case of a 3 man scumteam, they are not made aware of the whole team or that they are 3 players, They just know 1 of their scumbuddy in a circle (Wolf 1 knows Wolf 2, Wolf 2 knows Wolf 3 etc...)

There is a single day of voting, after a vote each player must guess the size of their team

the winner is decided according to the following checklist :

- Should the

all guess correctly their numbers, they win
- Should a

Scumteam

all guess their numbers, they win, priority to the smallest one
- Should a single team all fail to guess their numbers, they lose the game
Otherwise the team who had one of their members limmed loses

in the 5 Town case, these rules change for simply giving a win to every townie who guessed correctly that they were 5

I'm really confused on how that works

If the wincons are only tied to guessing numbers, not eliminations (at least that's what I understood), then what motivation do scum have for even acting like they are scum (i.e. defending their team or bussing their team or doing anything at all other than just claiming scum)? Also how do the 2p scums win?

Elimination is the tiebreaker in case of people not being unanimous, which i belive is fairly likely

if scum could just like "stop acting like scum" i think mafia would lose a lot of interest

Well, the 2P scum win by figuring out the other guy is also aware of them being scum, while avoiding being too obvious if the ennemy is the town

Obviously mafia can't just "stop acting like scum", but if there's no point in voting then there's no point in bussing, defending teammates, etc., so scum could just post whatever and town could post whatever and none of it would be AI.

However you did clarify the point in voting, so therefore that point is invalid.
