nightless was my first idea

iirc 10:5 nightless is usually balanced right?

I think this leans on the "favors scum" side but probably still in the realm of playable? Like 12:5 seems balanced to me instinctively.

nightless is a big bump in power for town since scum kinda can't kill problematic townies

iirc yeah they were big event games

the town "leader" would usually get a couple masons that they could choose and then they wouldn't know if the rest of the town they drafted was successful or not

i think the masons counterbalanced the "hand picked scum team" a lot though so these games weren't mountainous

making the auction be power roles + teamates could be interesting but also it might just be making it too complex for an idea that's supposed to be somewhat simple

i don't know if anybody's heard of this show but would anybody be interested in a game themed around it?
(it's an australian tv show called the inbestigators)
