weird that you see this as a difference instead of a town vs scum talk.

The game is about texts on a screen, though...

Don't worry. Morale is real, and a very swingy part of the game. You merely ran out of it. You'll no doubt reflect on this game and understand it better. Probably immediately tomorrow. Excited to hear what killing PurpleMango was about, or how right I am that it was a red-herring for Kay.

JV made the game-countering play by tracking me instead of zach. Genius play. It avoided a very real alternate world where Kay and I are locked in argument hel. As we can see, we got a taste of it right now and that's what I was worried about!

Admittedly, I got a townread on Kay off that argument. I strongly felt as if there's a real town perspective underneath that and I never felt as if she was scum appealing to me.

As a rule, I am more generous to high emotions from newer players. I remember how things were much more intense for me in my early days - I was experiencing things for the first few times! I try making regulating emotions a key component of my play now because of previous games where tilting cost me a huge deal.

I wish this ended on a nicer tone :nerd: But I think I learned a lot from this, mostly that it's a bigger time commitment than I was expecting and I guess I learned a lot about the culture of this site in general. Interesting and fun experience. And now that I can say it without anyone reading an ulterior motive, I was quite appreciative of the knowledge the vets brought to this as well.

I will probably stick to games catered to noobs whenever those pop up though :?
i do hope i see you around. not every game plays out like this. there have been nicer games than this, but this is definitely within the spectrum of possible games you could sign up to.

In post 36, StraightFlush wrote: Not expecting you to respond to this, but I figure my wincon is just not getting tracked by Jackson tonight since a kill on him isn't safe (purple could still be a doctor according to the setup, in which case JV is the objectively best target). Of course there's also the possibility that Jackson lied about his N1 results to lim a strong scumread (ketchup) and bait someone onto purple, but I feel like that play would be more likely to come from a watcher since they'd actually have the ability to see everyone who visits purple after doing that
Wow, would you look at that! Scum really did thought that a doctor was possible!

Missing in your probability calculation is the chance that Purplemango has been tracked - despite identifying that the game is probably a tracker game. Otherwise, I really appreciate the effort you gave this game!

i think you panicked immediately from the wall post. this isn't necessarily a death sentence. the counter to this is strong AtE, slurs, derogatory statements, and excessive discussion of real-life issues. works every time.

I need to be less SKETCHY!!!!
everyone's going to be sketchy in a game like this. honestly, i think you played fine anyway and you don't have to know what to say every time. you weren't immediately eliminated and your reads weren't that bad. sometimes that's enough. overtime, you'll have the confidence to try and do stuff - which i think is what you need to improve on. you haven't done this game because i think you don't have confidence yet. but next game, i think you'll start doing stuff. or don't, be like ydrasse this game and try to be a killbait and occasionally drop insight here and there.
