I'm reading early day and some of her jokey posts are a little too on the nose for my taste. Her early gameplay doesn't really make sense to me either. There's like this argument she gets in around the merit of wagons with Pink and she votes STD who is like sort of defending that Daisy is town. Nothing really happens after the vote as far as I can tell, then she later unvotes as part of this bit about STD being the driver than almost hit her irl.
I cant tell what her stance on Daisy actually was because she like argues with Pink indirectly fighting against it by saying wagons with 0 reasons are bad. And that's not the Daisy wagon, there were reasons for it.

I entered the game, I didn't really feel like backreading a ton so I only read a small number of slots. I didn't really read anything of Kyouko's. Then I had a bit of free time, I skimmed her ISO in a very lazy fashion, felt like most of it didn't really ping me but I had some questions about her thought process which I posted. ("I don't understand the progression from 1572" being scummy is REFUTED, because there was no progression there, just some questions and comments. I hadn't made up my mind about the slot.)
Then on page 64 and before that I was trying to build a wagon on Hu Tao, it wasn't gaining traction and honestly I didn't have that strong of a read on Hu Tao, so I said "why not wagon Kyo with Marci and see what happens" (which is actually how I work as town, see this post from a recently completed town game).
Then I voted her, nothing interesting happened, then Kyo showed up and started wallposting. And by wallposting I mean SERIOUSLY wallposting, and they weren't scum posts at all.
At that point I wasn't confident she was town but I unvoted because regardless of her alignment those wallposts made her more readable, I didn't actually have confidence I'll be able to play over the weekend so I wanted to continue thinking about this later (because there were two players who threatened to hammer, Hu and Enchant), and she definitely felt more towny in them, and possibly on the edge of her scum range (no offense meant). There was nothing opportunistic about the unvote, in fact I'm pretty sure they were still votes on her when I unvoted (and if somebody else unvoted, I personally didn't see that). Which refutes the "Reads seem to be being made in a way where there are ways to back out of them, or re-commit to them depending on whether a wagon is forming or not, which seems potentially opportunistic. 1703 specifically seems weird" line of accusing me.
And now she provided more posts which feel very earnerst, her thought process feels clear and not artificial in stark contrast to the last two scum games I remember with her, and I find her progression to be natural. So yeah I'm pretty heavily townreading her right now, the end.
Acknowledging, will grab other quotes later, but it was mainly your positioning regarding me where it felt like you threw out a TR but positioned yourself in a way where you could jump on the wagon if it picked up again. It vibes as if you were making a read on me that was "expected" in the moment.
Okay here's my take on Hu Tao / OopsieDaisy slot (aka HupsieDaisy):
Every single one of you that is clearing her is clearing her for really bad reasons. Hu Tao is famous for "bussing Day 1 in a way that isn't really necessary and doesn't give her towncred", and she has managed to pocket many a town player this way. Whether or not she was instrumental in getting Halfasleep elimmed is irrelevant because Hu Tao, as a scum player, would feel fine hardbussing her teammate Day 1 even if it's not, strictly speaking, necessary.
Even though by a surface glance at the VC, it does seem like the timing where Hu Tao chose to push the halfasleep wagon over was a timing where halfasleep was still savable, since HA and Ducky were tied at 4 votes each:

isn't the whole point of this game to figure out when people are lying and when people are telling the truth? do you expect everyone to be able to present evidence for every claim they make?
