Yeah okay I'm the spy.

You might think I played really bad but honestly I thought I was completely screwed from the moment Adorable asked me the first question and there were so many times I felt I was gonna get insta voted immediately (including the gambit with not answering adorable's question and voting her instead), so overall I think I survived longer than I expected.

And sorry for lurking but I literally just had no clue what to answer that question.

I think I have the possible locations narrowed down to like, airplane, cruise ship, concert, Normandy, and Charon's boat, but there is like 1-2 answers that don't fully fit for each of them. Like why would everyone (except the children) know who you are in an airplane? Why would you be wearing a uniform in Charon's boat? Why would you describe a concert as unreal? Why would Who enjoy meeting new people in Normandy????

Who knows! Maybe I've got a completely wrong idea and it's none of these places. Anyway I'm just going to make a random guess.

Oh, glad I switched my vote! I felt so sure HEM was the spy because of the "except the children" - children aren't allowed in casinos, at least all the ones I know of are adults only. Maybe in a hotel or resort that has a casino in it, but not in the casino itself. Eventually I realised maybe it's different in US

Yeah, you have to be an adult to be on the casino floor in the United States, but minors are generally allowed in other parts of the resort accessible to the public.

I think volunteering information is fine. Or insinuating that you want information, and then the person you want information from can volunteer whatever they want. So maybe questions serve as subpoenas that you can't avoid? Maybe missing a question has consequences. Maybe you only get 3 misses in questions before you are eliminated from the game? Like you flip? If you're crew, then it's revealed that you're crew except the location and your job. But your answers are fair game.

I did feel 20 locations would've felt more winnable when I was the spy.

Interestingly, when playing this IRL I have seen many spy wins with a list of 28 locations. I think this game might favor the crew when played on a forum because it gives the crew more time to come up with clever questions and/or answers.

HEM's initial answer made perfect sense as Elvis impersonator, and I couldn't really see anywhere else where it would have made sense, or at least where it would have made that much sense. "Unreal" (Which is a word frequently used to describe Las Vegas) and "cost of living" were also good fits and reasonably specific, so HEM was the most innocent. I figured out Imaginality's opposition to the word "children" somewhere around the point where he switched votes, but it didn't change my opinion of HEM. It did clear Imaginality to me though, but all of this was irrelevant because...
I was 100% sure of DE70 the instant he said "motion sickness" after trying to avoid answering the question. At the time I kind of assumed we all were, and that we were just pretending otherwise to mislead him.

I say if we don't get seven players for game 4, go ahead and take all our locations anyway and just fill out the necessary locations needed to get to 20. For game 5 and later, we just send two locations.

To clarify: A crewmember who is eliminated from the game like this is considered to have lost, even if the crew eventually wins, and thus this cannot be intentionally done for strategic reasons, right?

If not, this opens up a whole new class of strategies and effectively gives the crew the same number of eliminations they'd have in nightless mafia instead of just the 1 they're supposed to get.

i think the first one is more correct? the second one seems like it's gonna blow this game wide open, and turn it into mafia WHICH WE DONT WANT. we're going to be needing to buff the spy or nerf crewmembers if that happens lmao

Shouldn't it be updated to note that a player should submit two locations instead of just one?
