I am not upset or angry at anyone here, I have things/emotions in my life that sometimes bleed into mafia. I feel my options are to stop playing mafia or keep trying to work through these things until I can get better at separating the two and I enjoy playing mafia even if it aggravates me sometimes.

It was discovered that due to mechanics if we no limmed enough zombies couldn't recruit (or something i dont honestly remember) but the mod told us we are not allowed to no lim 2 consecutive days.

The first day was D0 and no one could be limmed. On d1 we no limmed and on d2 i guess IT got killed for the memes but I think it was probably worth doing because he seemed a likely recruit candidate (even tho I personally didn't get a chance to help vote him out).

We also had a big mech discussion about limming town vs. limming scum. I dont want to revisit but the basic gist is that if we lim town scum cannot recruit tonight but we are in ELO and if we lim scum then scum will probably recruit a new person.

I think it's more helpful in the sense of looking at who is telling the truth about who they would recruit, but it at least gives us a thing to talk about while we try to figure out who is acting weird.

It wouldn't be random, but it would definitely be an attempt at subverting expectations.

the weird thing is with 3 scum out of 8 this should be like shooting fish in a barrel but i'm really unsure.

I mean, we're slightly less than a coin flip to be right, but also scum doesn't really have the incentive to bus they normally do so the passive pressure is away from a scum lim rather than towards. I'm lowkey vibing with pooky's thought that GB backed off of his plan being real, even though I think it's wrong. I think Kay is town 100% of the time here. That leaves me with 1 town in the rest of the names if I'm right.

I think CWorl is pretty safe as a zombie bet because she's someone someone basically anyone but me would have recruited, but maybe that also makes her a bad choice for lim, because if she flips zam I don't know where to go tomorrow.

I don't think he's right, I think it's town indicative that he's that paranoid, if that makes sense. Like, when you walked back the desire to shoot town makes sense as town, but pooky thinking that you as scum were running a false flag seems more like a town tinfoil than a scum one.

the thing about mech is that if you are scum and you give incorrect mech and get caught on it, that's a give away. also with Bingle who will, without fail, try to break every game with mech as town, if he decides "you know what, i'm good" then that's also a give away. (yeah meta sure but still).

I’m not really leaning on mech to get me through though. Like, I gave my two bits on mech, and now I’m trying to figure out who to lim given I think both bears and Kay are town. I’ve arrived at sloth. Basically, I think sloth flipping town means my worldview is completely fucked and I need to reset my reads. Sloth flipping scum means I can probably safely murderdeathkill cworl.

The problem is if we lim scum today..you could be scum tomorrow if you’re not already scum right now. Or me, or your other townreads.

If we lim scum today and tomorrow we net a mislim with which to find the new scum. I went over this for GB. Definitely still better for town to double lim scum than to miss and hit town today, but if we miss and hit town today it's not the end of the game.

Lies. I have 3 townreads (Kay/Bear/Raccoonbear), made a cogent argument for why one of my nontownreads is a better lim than the others, and have since campaigned for that lim. I have done the most fucks of anyone.

These are just towny thoughts. GB is actually looking at group divisions between the players and who is likely to recruit who. It's not just these posts, either, but they represent a pattern of him trying to solve. Couple that with the "LIM ME!" bit and only backing down on that when I pointed out the clear advantage of being able to not be in XLO anymore and I'm pretty sure GB is town aorn.

So, as far as why I think LizzrdBear is town, these two feel like the kind of nonsense that town thinks up that's incredibly hard for scum to fake. Like... Pooky town has to go "hey, GB doesn't really want to get limmed, he's probably hiding shit." when GB had a pretty natural backoff to me. Pooky scum has to reach the same weird conclusion when he already knows that GB was probably being serial about wanting to be limmed unless GB is also scum, which... See above.

Kay I'm not actually really sure on but everyone else seems to think it's impossible she's scum on vibes. I think channeling the annoyance of being scum would look a lot like this, but I don't really know her that well.

That leaves me with 3/4 of sloth/STD/C/yes being scum. I think, of those names, C is the common denominator, which means C is pretty much guaranteed to Zom from my POV. STD rando recruiting any of those three makes sense, from which 2/3 leads back into each other (C/Sloth) My impression of yess is that he'd do much the same as STD and rando recruit. So one of STD and yess is town and it's kind of a tossup which, but I don't really want to fight figuring that out right away.
