• If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread.
  Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
  
• Green italics
  are reserved for my own use, in the event that I feel it is appropriate to edit or comment on another player's post. Anybody else posting in green italics will have their post edited or deleted by me, as appropriate.
  
• Have fun, be kind and considerate to the players and the moderator, and do your best!

Furthermore, I expect my players to be active. Any player who does not post for 72 consecutive hours will be prodded. If they fail to post within 24 hours of my sending the prod, they will be replaced. Any player who is prodded four times within a two-gameday span will be replaced outright.

Exceptions may be made on an individual basis for players who post in-thread announcing absences ahead of time.

The Setup!

This is a Smalltown setup. Each player's rolename and role ability is made public and was determined randomly.

From these twelve players, THREE (3) random players were chosen to be in the Mafia. ONE (1) of the remaining nine players was chosen to be a Serial Killer.

The town wins when all three Mafia and the Serial Killer are dead, and at least one protown player remains alive.

The Mafia wins when their faction gains and cannot lose a majority of the town's population.

The Serial Killer wins when he or she is the last player standing.

The Roles!

Danchaofan - Dr. Horrible (Jailkeeper)
The world is a mess, and you just... need to rule it. You're going to use your Freeze Ray to... "fix" the world. Once per night, you may target another player. You will simultaneously roleblock that player and protect them from one kill attempt on them.


Megatheory - Captain Hammer (Vigilante)
A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do! When the day needs YOUR saving expertise, you do the one thing you know how to do best: Bash in heads! You may attempt to kill one player per night.

Rishi - Penny (Weak Doctor)
You believe there's good in every heart... keep it safe and sound. Okay, so maybe you're a little idealistic. But you try your hardest to protect anybody who needs it. Once per night, you may attempt to protect another player from a single nightkill. However, if you find yourself around the wrong people, you'll find yourself dead.

Plum - Mayor (One-Shot Governor)
Justice has a name. And the name it has, besides Justice... and Captain Hammer... is you! Once during the game, during day, you may prevent a single player from beign lynched that day by posting

Pardon: <NAME>

in the game thread. If that player would be lynched, the game will go to night instead without a lynch. You may not use this ability on yourself. If you pardon a player who is not lynched, then your ability will still be used up.

fuzzylightning - Johnny Snow (Watcher)
You're tired of waiting for that Dr. Horrible in the park, so you've decided you're going to start hanging around other people... once per night, you may target a player. You will be told who (if anybody) targeted that player on that night.

Gorrad - Moist (Universal Backup)
You're moist! Oh, and your name is Moist, too. Being a career henchman, backing others up is really your thing. Once during the game, you may PM me the name of a decesased player. You will take on that player's ability for the remainder of the game.

Master Ruck - Homeless Guy (Two-Shot Commuter)
Get up, go out, and fly... You smell like poo! Twice during the game, at night, you may booze up and neglect your hygiene. When you do this, nobody will be able to target you that night.

Malyss - Bad Horse (Pseudo-Ascetic)
You ride across the nation, the Thoroughbread of Sin. You rule the Evil League of Evil with an iron hoof. In fact, your influence is so great that each night you may target one player to... "convince" them not to target you. That player will be unable to take any actions against you that night.

Porochaz - Bad Horse Ensemble (Doublevoter)
You're just a simple trio of messengers by day
You use your strength in numbers to gain greater say
Your vote, it counts for double, to help you in your play
So use it well, until you're hoarse
Vote whom you like, even Bad Horse!

Tony Montana - News Reporter (Vanilla)
You're the lead news reporter for the local television station. You'd like to help, but aside from knowing who's gay, you really can't do very much. You are the only Vanilla player in the game. Sorry!

hasdgfas- Fan Club Boy (Bodyguard)
You're quite the fanboy. In fact, you would take a bullet for... um... which fanclub are you in nowadays? I guess once per night, you may target another player to stalk. I mean, protect. If that player would get killed, you will perish in their stead.

Jebus - Creepy Fan Girl (Cumulative Tracker)
Hey! You're not Creepy. You just *REALLY* like certain people. Once per night, you may target another player. You will be told everyone (if anyone) they targeted during the course of the game so far.


The three members of the MAFIA have the following added on to their role PM:
You are also a part of the MAFIA with XXXX and YYYY. Each night, one of you may forego your regular ability in favor of killing one other player. You win when your group gains and cannot lose a majority of the town's population.

Note that in order to kill, the killing Mafia member must forfeit their normal ability, if they have one.

The SERIAL KILLER has the following added on to his or her role PM:
You are also the SERIAL KILLER! Once per night,

in addition to using your normal ability

you may target one player to kill. You win when you are the last player standing.

Billy arrived at the homeless shelter. He was late on his plans to take over the world, but Penny had asked him to come. He hoped the bouquet of flowers wasn't too much.

When Billy walked into the auditorium, he nearly jumped out of his shoes. Bad Horse? What on earth was the Thoroughbred of Sin doing here?

"Relax," spoke the Mayor. "The body of one of Captain Hammer's fan girls was found."

"Okay..."

"It seems there was a plot more sinister than anything even Bad Horse could have devised. Somebody is trying to take over LA, and they have got to be stopped."

As the day progressed, it seems that all sides -- both "good" and "evil" -- decided that the News Reporter was the one to go. Collectively, they hoisted TonyMontana up and beat him senseless. One terrible death whinny later, and TonyMontana was gone.

Glork, there is a mistake here somewhere. You say here that Dan died, yet on post 0 you edited it saying Mega died and Dan isn't on any of the lists. Who exactly died last night?

Apologies -- I accidentally copy/pasted both lines (Dr. Horrible and Captain Hammer were listed as the first two roles in the playerlist), and highlighted the whole block green, instead of just copy/pasting Dr. Horrible and highlighting Dr. Horrible green. When I saw that the numbers were off, I deleted the wrong line (instead of moving Captain Hammer back).


Playerlist has been fixed. Danchao/Dr. Horrible died. Megatheory/Captain Hammer is still alive.
