The generic answer is under pressure at E-1.

I’d add claiming d1 usually should be avoided if possible so if you believe in your ability to convince people you’re town without a claim try that first.

Generally you wait until you're at E-1, and someone declares intent to hammer. It's also acceptable to do so pre-emptively at E-1 if you're concerned about a quickhammer happening, or it's close enough to deadline that doing things by the book is impractical.

Personally, were I in your stead, I would not be claiming yet, regardless of my role.

I mean I can’t see Upwards or Esfera scumslipping they feel pretty confidently town
I’ve been flip flopping on lynnya. Sometimes she feels town and sometimes she feels scummy. I’m just not sure what to do about her.

Talk me through lynnya/THS? Is it just because THS could be partnered with anyone and you SR lynnya individually? How did that come about?
