I was able to find good prices flying LAX-Fiji-Sydney, and weirdly Houston (Hobby)-DFW-Sydney was being advertised as way cheaper than DFW-Sydney on its own. I didn't go through to checkout on either of these, so ymmv.

2. Australia has really weird taxes on flights. So you will likely find flights to be much cheaper on indirect flights. Those coming from Europe consider stopovers in Thailand, Oman, Qatar, Malaysia. For those coming from The Americas, consider New Zealand. Sydney to NA only flies direct to four cities. Vancouver, Dallas, LA, and San Fran. Meanwhile Auckland connects to various cities in Chile, Argentina, and more cities on the Western US coast. Also it's cheaper to fly between Sydney and Auckland than between states in Australia unless the connection is on your initial ticket. (Former travel agent)

In exciting news, we now have 10 confirmed players and 2 additional crew members in the worst and McMenno!!

We’ll be aiming to host a game of at least 18 players, with the potential for this to increase slightly depending on registrations.

People who have said that they’d be happy to either play or help out have been assigned as players for now. This can be changed if there is a change of preference, and we are absolutely welcoming anyone else who would like to come along, whether it be to play, help run the game or just hang out.
