KayJayQueue has been banned from mafia games for a minimum of three months for publicly accusing another player of stalking her, and apparent discussion of ongoing games via private message. The severity of this ban is in part due to a recurring pattern regarding her emotional responses in games. This post is one example of this behavior. In a message sent privately to her stemming from her previous ban, we urged her to make an effort to not let in-game issues spiral into conflicts of a more personal nature. Given the recurring pattern of behavior, KayJayQueue will need to submit a petition committing to engaging in mafia in a healthier manner, without letting personal conflicts snowball into multiple rule violations. KayJayQueue will need to be replaced in any ongoing games.

As a reminder, do not discuss ongoing games.

Due to moderation errors and abandoning a game, diluculum will be required to have a co-mod review all action resolutions and flips in all his future games. His future games must also be a normal or approved open setup, and cannot have 14 or more players.

Angel3 has been banned from posting for an indeterminate amount of time. Kittenlover has been banned as an angel3 alt account

Angel3 has been banned for a minimum for three months for a pattern of posting consistently and graphically about topics such as assault and abuse within our Discord server and discussion forums, attacking other users and ban evasion, as well as refusing to acknowledge or adhere to mod guidance at many different points during the process.

While serious and appropriately labelled discussions of these topics are not banned, Angel demonstrated an unwillingness to provide content warnings for these conversations. Furthermore, when asked to stop speaking about these topics, Angel continued to do so despite being timed out and warned.

Ultimately, this culminated into attacks towards other users as well as ban evasion to continue doing so after a ban was put on their account in order to stop these attacks and threads from continuing.

In order to return, Angel will need to demonstrate an ability to more healthily engage in these conversations as well as with other users‘ boundaries.

Please note that due to the nature of their comments, examples of their behavior will not be provided in this announcement.

After serving a 1-month petition ban period originally given in 2021 and successfully demonstrating to the discussion mod team that he can engage with the site in a healthy manner vonflare has been unbanned from discussion forums.

After demonstrating a consistent ability to play games to completion we are lifting the previous sign=up restriction on KawaiiKame.

KawaiiKame has been restricted from playing in multiple games of mafia simultaneously after continued instances of flaking, following a prior restriction for an excessive number of replacements. They may not be alive in more than one game of mafia at a time until they demonstrate that they are willing and able to play games to completion.

At her request, rBree2 has been banned from the Mafia forums for 3 months.

brandicamuffin has been banned as an alt of Angel3.

Given this is the second instance of ban evasion, Angel3's ban has been changed from a petition ban to permanent.

Jake From State Farm has been banned from mafia games for two months (expires (expired on 2025-08-03 00:00:00)) for publicly accusing another person of stalking (post was later blanked by Jake) and continuing to accuse other players of breaking rules after prior action. More broadly speaking, these posts and others fit into a pattern of Jake From State Farm escalating normal in-game disputes into out-of-game personal conflicts. The length of the ban took into consideration Jake From State Farm's past ban history, Jake From State Farm's actions on other sites, and the broader pattern of escalation that the mod team has observed. To be clear, regardless of whether the requests to not break the rules are being made in good faith, these posts can have unintended consequences and should be avoided.

Jake From State Farm has requested and received a Full Site self-ban for a minimum of one year, which will run concurrently with his existing two month Mafia ban.

Civil Scum has been banned from joining new mafia games for 2 weeks (expires (expired on 2025-08-21 23:59:59)) for threatening to throw a game on multiple occasions. Civil Scum does

not

need to be replaced in any ongoing games.

Additionally, Civil Scum has been banned from the Newbie Queue for three months (expires (expired on 2025-11-07 23:59:59)) for excessive toxicity in newbie games that fails to meet the higher standards of the newbie queue in addition to setting a poor example by threatening to game throw. Players are reminded that as semi-experienced players in the newbie queue, you play a large part in our retention of newer players. SEs should lead by example, and the mod team will not tolerate any behavior that significantly degrades the new player experience.

KawaiiKame has been restricted from playing in multiple games of mafia at once after failing to complete Mini Normal 2372 and Mini Normal 2369. KawaiiKame will need to submit a petition committing to finish all games they join for this restriction to be lifted.
