I like to create my own style. I love to be different and make people smile when they look at me. It makes my heart happy because I don’t know what anyone is going through. I love stuffies and butterflies. Now I’m am wearing a Nike jacket and teddy bear crocs and teddy bear purse made by me. I love to create anything I put my mind to. Hairstyle is done by me as well.

I took like multiple years off (and let the domain lapse) because it became a chore to have to meticulously tag everything...but I finally decided to let go of perfection and just tag "fashion" and start putting pictures up again.

Yeah, when the old domain lapsed I connected it to my personal one (11thhour.net) which is probably how you saw it. I think tumblr updated something that decoupled it from that domain though.

well any blog that uses tumblr will have its posts show up on the feed ("dashboard") of the tumblr users that follow it, like twitter or whatever social media. my understanding is that when you connect it to your own domain, that domain just displays the posts, which are hosted in tumblr's database. sufjan stevens' website is famously a wrapper for a tumblr blog like that, the tumblr blog itself being called "s-u-f-j-a-n-s-t-e-v-e-n-s". whoops sorry everybody i thought i saw a sign on the door that said "tumblr and blogging thread"

i have been a bit frustrated lately with clothes for any occasion besides work!!

i did just finish putting nearly all of my clothing items into an airtable database (didn't bother with socks etc.) this could facilitate tracking what i wear but also might direct getting rid of stuff/getting new stuff. it was also a bit hard to remember what i left in storage back in the states or gave away vs. what's here but not in my usual rotation.

as such, here are some random stats-

55% of the current database is thrifted, gifts or secondhand from someone I know. (e.g. I apparently have 11 knit hats and all of them are gifts)
11% i believe i have had for at least 10 years

colour breakdown (this will not add up to 100% because some items have multiple prominent colours)
white/cream/off-white - 25%
black - 24%
blue - 17%
green - 15%
brown/bronze/tan/etc - 12%
grey/silver - 11%
pink - 7%
red - 7%
purple - 6%
yellow - 4%
orange - only 1 item

i actually figured green would be higher, but I think it's that I disproportionately actually bought green clothes myself

clothes cataloging is a great idea, im thinking esp for matching outfits! i have a lot of knowledge swimming in my head about what in my closet goes best with what but sometimes ill be trying stuff on and discover a fresh idea and be like "how did i not see this before"

.. also i know its good to think about getting rid of clothes i never wear anymore but its so hard for me because sometimes i miraculously discover a new desire to wear an old piece and then it goes back in the rotation ..
