If there is an even number of antitown factions at the end of setup creation, ignoring this role:
This role is town.
Half of all antitown factions can only perform actions/ have passive abilities during odd nights, and the other half perform actions/ have abilities only on even nights. Modify their roles as such. (This effects factional actions)
Then modify town power roles the same, making half only function on odd nights and the other half only on even nights. If there's an odd number of applicable roles, choose at random for the last one.

If there is an odd number of antitown factions at the end of setup creation, ignoring this role:
This role becomes a serial killer, then modify the setup as above described.

Each night, you may target a player to charge them with a weird energy. Weird energy functions similarly to mysterious energy but has a different effect from mysterious energy.

Mod Note: Normal energy has no effect but is fundamentally the same type of energy as mysterious energy.

Mysterious energy is mysterious, it will have a subtle effect. Mysterious energy is a lingering effect that lasts indefinitely. Mod Discretion applies on mysterious energy's effect.


Weird energy is even weirder than mysterious energy. It has a subtle effect different from mysterious energy. Mod Discretion applies on weird energy's effect.

Third Party Mirror


If another third party role is in the game, make this role a copy of that role. Do not share that this card generated that role.
All third party roles can win with other copies of themselves during this game. Additionally, third party players cannot kill other players of the same type of third party. Modify win conditions of all third parties in the game to reflect this.
(For example, a Serial Killer would not need to remove another Serial Killer in order to achieve their win condition and would become immune to other SK kills)

If another third party role isn't in the game, treat this card as a vanilla townie. Do not share that this card generated that role.

The idea is it's mostly an undefined role so if you aren't determining the setup right then it doesnt really make sense (for roles that do stuff like get a random invention from the thread)

this variation of portraitist includes the night when the portraitist was killed if the portraitist was killed at night.

Mafia Up/Downgrader


Each night, you may upgrade a player, causing their upgradeable abilities to advance to the next level if they have any. Alternatively, if they have no upgradeable abilities, their action will be unblockable and costless (x-shot/joat abilities are not used up that night).

Each night, you may downgrade a player, causing their upgradeable abilities to regress to the previous level if they have any. Alternatively, if they have no upgradeable abilities, they will be jammed, causing their abilities to not function until the next night.

Players will be informed should they be upgraded or downgraded.
