well, I can check the timestamps to see what my conversation with tess looked like, if that helps.
so, june 13th. actually our conversation takes place the next day. I tell tess that I think its human and enchant, and 'haaaaaaaaalp'. so tess says we need to figure out hu tao, and that way we solve enchant and human (the implication was that its either hu tao/locktown or enchant/human). she asked me if I had reasons to townread each slot, I go 'v-v-v-vibes?', and ask her if she did see the pages where locktown votes human first. I say I bought it and that human looks pretty shook. Tess calls it antitown. so our conversation starts revolving around it pretty hard. I point at #636 as a scumpost by human, and say it feels like someone who just got voted by two townies and feels defeated. I also quote the other post human makes to us where he goes:
"Discuss with each other. I get that ELO is the absolute worst time for heads to disagree, but support your arguments with evidence, and explain how you're feeling. I know Tess will be able to convince you of the truth"
and I say that this^ feels like human knows we're town, when he has no evidence for that. tess thinks this is fair. then she says... human looks tonally flat, but thats similar to a gun game we all played (where he was town). and that hu seems p town to her still. then she asks if she convinced me of the truth. I say no, but she can girlboss me. we both lmao, then she goes over your posting at the beginning of the game. says its really bad. and asks if I know how hu tao wolves. I reply that hu tao is an execllent snowy wolf. then, we're back at locktown. she thinks your early vote is very bad and very antitown. and that first 16 human posts are him going after multiple people. and that the c-worl case is unlikely to come from scum (I agreed). and that scum!human, she has that experience from a turbo we all played together here and he basically made no reads. and that she doesn't expect human to be so different from a turbo to a regular game, that maybe he doesn't even have it in his range to play like that as scum at all. I agree. and that... the posts he made where it feels like he knows we're town might just be misplaced confidence. I remember it was that same day that tess asks human to elaborate the townread on us. why? because we're discussing the misplaced confidence or TMI bit privately.
at some point I say, ok, then it has to be locktown and hu tao, and that I can see human being town, and that maybe hu tao and locktown are powerwolfing and snowing tf out of the game. and that... hu tao could be scum with human but that would be an unnecessary bus. and that we need to find a SINGLE townie here to just win it, if I'm right that hu tao wouldn't bus (I wasn't, lol). tess says that this townie, for her, is human.
we really did talk a LOT that day, so I'm sorry if this is too much. but then tess goes over your ISO, and says that you saying you'd be exhausted as a wolf and then just quick voting and not solving worlds at ELO looks like exhausted wolf. and, well, that your posting is grossly awkward early on. there was a lot of things she pointed out. but more importantly for tess is that she thought you/hu was much more likely than human/enchant as well for the interactions human had with and about enchant.
and... well, she posted all of that, and it looked reasonable and likely correct. and I was working. and... she wanted more discussion, she wanted to really drag the gameday, but its not really how we do things in mafiascum nowadays, is it? so one night where she was maybe a little tipsy, we YOLOed the vote instead of waiting more.
so anyway. that was it. I think I explained how things happened fmpov.
