Hey all,

You may or may not know that Save the Dragons was working on the merch end of things for the mod team before he left to spend more time in meatworld, but I'm trying to take over and get some stuff rolling on that angle. If you are a talented individual who would like to help out, please feel free to reach out with ideas or ways you would like to contribute. There is a secret subforum where anyone who would like to contribute art, production expertise, or time can get together and discuss, so feel free to reach out if you'd like to join the merch team.

Actually working out a price point that makes sense for the products will depend a lot on the finished products, so for now I'm going to focus on the what as opposed to the how much. If you own a printing company or something along those lines and would like to be involved professionally, please reach out privately. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated here in the meantime.

We don't typically announce Community Contributor appointments that weren't publicly applied to, but let me use this spot to thank Bingle for stepping up into the role of Art & Merch Director. Getting Merch back up has been on my agenda since Day 1 so I am so happy Bingle is as excited as I am to get this project moving.

So far this is to gauge interest and get a sense of what people might be looking for. I will do my best to figure out shipping options for our non NA scummers that don't absolutely destroy the price when we get to that point, although obviously no promises can be made at this time. It will likely depend somewhat on the number of scummers in each region that want merch.

For mafiascum deck purposes the number of roles will be limited due to cost considerations, so I’m not sure exactly how many roles we’ll be able to support. I don’t think we will be able to get all of the normal roles unfortunately.

I expect we will try to have a sampling of open and normal setups in a small rule book and prioritize the roles needed for those and then I will hopefully work with the new Normal List Mod to pick other frequently used roles.

Ideally I’d like to get art made for all of the normal roles to be able to make a print and play version of the deck for cases where shipping doesn’t work well and to have an expanded deck, but I will be prioritizing work on T-Shirts and the main deck for now.

If you are interested in helping out with anything (making art, designing card layout, being part of the discussion on setups) past showing interest please let me know. I do want to try to get a plan in place for selecting setups soon, but I doubt I will make any real progress until I have a normal list mod to annoy.

I’ll look into it but I suspect this will be the sort of thing that we just don’t have the population to justify, based on the variety of phones. With that said, I think the idea is an interesting one and maybe we can look into stickers sized specifically for phone cases as well.

Thaumaturge's Delight exists but that is more of a open setup designed around Thaumaturge than one that will likely be played

The town OSRC feels clunky in that setup, otherwise it looks interesting to run (I’m on a prolonged break from running games here though)

Depending on style and quality I imagine small run keychains and pins would be similar. With regards to materials, would people be more interested in pricier metal/resin cast ones or cheaper printed resin ones?

Also I remembered some rpg campaigns I’ve played with custom dice sets ordered by the GM and I know those are fairly accessible as well. Would there be interest in something like that? If so, how many sides?

a typical set has a d4, d6, d8, d10, percentage dice (d10 with a zero printed after the number), d12, and d20

I’m fine with cheaper option.

Also for distribution purposes, are you planning to order them all to deliver to yourself and then ship to each person?
