I kinda think there were two fundamental problems with the way the setup was run.
1) The day play was entirely irrelevant. Town could never get an elimination on scum in a meaningful way and therefore nothing that was happening during the day mattered, the whole game boiled down to a mini game that happened entirely night one.
2) The scum just had too easy a win condition. Everything would have to go extremely right for town to end up in a position where they could actually have a chance of winning the game, and realistically the outcome of what happened in the first attempt is just going to happen the vast majority of the time.
I think multiball actually addresses both of these problems pretty concretely, so I am going to attempt to run the setup with that premise instead. I've also added one more townie and slightly changed the rules on how scum can predict town shots as well to prevent the actual worst case from happening. This of course introduces tons of other problems in the setup and I am pretty sure the game will still be incredibly stupid. But it will be stupid in a different way! And at the end of the day isn't that what its all about?
