Hi Enchant! Is there any big city in the middle of Russia? The only ones whose names I know are either in the far east, or in Europe.

Krasnoyarsk i think, but i do not travel much.

America education makes Russia sound terrible. Is it terrible or is it a nice place to live?

Something better than other countries, something worse. None of countries are perfect i think, but it's good living here. I don't have anything to compare.

Overall it's going downhill for now, but heh.

I think the pandemic just made fault lines that already existed more obvious

Some things get worse, some things get better

I can't pick any particular time where things were just good all around because there's always problems and what they are and who they affect most is what changes (to some extent, obviously there are vulnerable populations that get the short end of most problems)

And Colombia was the country led by this revolutionary that freed most of Latin America from the Spaniards whose name I forgot just this moment.

Technically it would still have been Gran Colombia, and it was Simon Bolivar but don't let them oversell it -- it was more about local elites realising that they could have greater control over the local territories than a more modern revolutionary movement

And Argentina has had very bad economy recently but Milei Javier is trying to fix it.

And Venezuela and Colombia both have or recently had a corrupt/totalitarian government I'm pretty sure

Venezuela have a dictatorship but not really totalitarian. Colombia haven't for a while but there have been a lot of problems, you might be thinking of Pinochet in Chile. There's problems with corruption basically everywhere
