Hey! Skruffs is back! Archon is replaced! Albert B. Rampage is posting! We've got a full game!
BrianMcQueso is at L-1. I'm willing to hammer, but I would much rather hear Skruffs and Johnny Rotten have to say about who they think is scum or town and why.
I am pretty comfortable leaving my vote on Brian for now. If I had to make another choice as to who else I feel is scum, I would say Light-Kun. To me, his play has just been all over the place.
Hohum and Rampage, I am torn over. Sometimes they appear pro-town, sometimes they appear scummy. I'm not sure if it is their (at times) poor attitude that makes me feel that way or not.
I am pretty confident that Qwints is town. Mainly because, as I read the pages of the thread, I agreed with most of what he said (at the time he said it). I don't smell scum in that direction.
As for the others, they are up in the air right now. Not getting a tell either way.

NEVER THREATEN TO ABANDON A GAME!!! DONT BECOME LIKE THEM!

You're right, I'm just frustrated. I don't understand why people don't want to replace. I guess I should be more proactive and replace as an exchange thing, but 3 games is kind of my personal limit.
Yeah... I was playing 3 games too (one being a replacement) and I couldn't strain myself either.
qwints is definetly townier (meaning pro-town, not that he is a townie) than Brian.
Mr.Rotten wrote:Wow.....you ever try to read 29 pages of play, while at work, in the middle of the night? Its a bit overwhelming, and I don't think I'll try THAT again!!!
Welcome sir! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR GREAT EFFORT!
John or Rotten? what should I call you? or JR? yeah... JR wrote:

at this time, seeing as we are nearing deadline.
Do you know this is L-1??? is there a deadline really?

Just calling them as I see them. Defensive much?
huh? How so?
@skruffs: dude... we NEED that post with your thoughts about the game!
No one hammer Brian yet, lets talk a bit although I don't feel it's necessary to wait for a replacement, he has been off-site since the 27th... maybe he will come back.
@JR: What do you think about Archon and PiePop so far?
Skruffs wrote:Dangit, I"m not meeaning to lurk, it's been site wide, just been having a crisis or two at work. Tonight is the night.
Damn, Skruffs. You replaced in 2 weeks ago and all you've done is make 4 posts and almost all of them are apologies for not posting and/or promises to read and post later.

I want to hammer BrianMcQueso and all it takes for me to do it is for you to post some analysis of the game (preferably a PBPA). I can't think of any good reason for a person to replace into a game and go for 2 weeks without even reading the game much less making a content post. It feels like you're trying to get away with not posting until Night 2.
Also @Albert B. Rampage: quit being a Zwet-wannabe and post an analysis of the game.

I haven't seen anything posted by the mod to suggest that the deadline has been postponed, so I presume it is still in effect. Oh, and JR will be fine

I tend to equate a sarcastic reply to an accusatory post as being a defense mechanism. I stated that LK was the 2nd most likely to be scum, and his reply was "Thanks Johnny! You sure made me feel like I've done my part". Obvious sarcasm on his part, hence my deduction that he was being defensive.

Well, since I replaced Archon, I think he is pro town and obviously the MVP of the game!!
PiePop.....still on the fence. When reading his posts I sometimes get a whiff of scum, others its more of a town vibe. I am leaning
slightly
more to the scum side, but not nearly enough to be of any significance.
since we have all replament and all are caught up you have a 4 day deadline. Sorry for all the typos but I tried doing this on my iPod.
EDIT: I guess i will get the person i originally had to replace in tuesday take Brians spot, since it appears he isn't coming back. If anyone thinks it would be a jerk move to expect someone to replace into this situation, please PM me letting me know. Also, If you fully expect someone to replace into this situation, please also PM me letting me know. This is kinda like a poll, i just want everyone's opinions for future reference.
I just checked Skruffs' posting record and it looks like he posting the same "Tonight is the night" post in every game he's in. So
unvote
.
I guess today is pretty much done. Brian's not going to say anything, and nobody has anything left to say, so whatever. Hopefully tomorrow will be totally different.
I appreciate your willingness to try and get Skruffs to give some feedback, unfortunately I think we've got a dud with Skruffs. Hopefully he'll show us a better side tomorrow.
As soon as the sun rose on Lynchville following day 1, RedCoyote was all over the nervouse BrianMcQueso. Can you blame him though? BrianMcQueso never even considered hanging the scum, so he has to be scum, right? For a second, it appeared we wouldn't get a chance to find out, as the newest member of the town, Albert B. Rampage, wanted to see qwints hang. However, RedCoyote was persistent enough to talk people into having it his way. So as the sun started setting on Lynchville, Brian couldn't figure out the words to say to get people off his back, so he stopped talking at all. This presented even more problems, as he couldn't claim what he does at night, since he wouldn't talk. The town was so confident, they carried on with the lynching anyways. RedCoyote gladly escorted BrianMcQueso up to the gallows, asking if anyone would like to finish him off. Reluctantly, KublaiKhan does the honors, ending the second day.
As BrianMcQueso hung their, the town begins to rush up to the dangling body to check for incriminating evidence. Unfortunately for RedCoyote and the other five, his pockets are empty. They then proceed over to his house, to see if they can find anything there. As RedCoyote opens the garage door, he see's a stack of camouflage clothing, as well as a set of binoculars on top, indicating he likes to watch houses at night. RedCoyote picks up the pile of clothes and binoculars to show anyone who hasn't seen them yet, when he notices a gun sitting underneath the clothes. Examining it more closely, the town decides it was the same gun used to kill Archaist.
I just wanted to come in and apologize for going missing. I got laid off, and have had a lot more important things to worry about. Sorry I wasn't able to hang around and try to convince you not to lynch me.

I completely understand. I knew you wasn't avoiding us, so i wasn't worried about it.
As the sun rises on Lynchville, to end the second night, the townspeople start to gather in the town square. As RedCoyote comes stumbling up, people stare in amazement, wondering why he is still alive. As that conversation quickly dies down, the people standing out begin to get worried about the ones not showing up. "Hohum is usually the first one here, where is he?" exclaims qwints. "I don't see Light-Kun either", says Kublai Khan. "Maybe they had a doctor's meeting together" Yells a voice in the background.
After a few more minutes of waiting, they decide to proceed to wake them up, since they were wasting valuable time. They arrive at Hohum's house first, to find the backdoor open. As they enter the house, they find a bloody mess. At first no one can quite make out what happened. It appears as if Hohum was leaving his house when he was shot from behind. Everyone has a moment of silence for Hohum, then begin to check his house for incriminating evidence. Unfortunately, they only find a plaque on the wall which appears to be his Doctorate degree from Lynchville University. "Maybe he was telling the truth after all", exclaims Alexhans.
Once they find everything they need from Hohum's house, the procession moves over to Light-Kun's house. As they approach the house, they find a single bullet hole through the window of the front door. Qwints nervously approaches the door, somehow knowing what was behind it. As the door was opened, everyone found the bloody, lifeless body of Light-Kun. After a quick check of his body, a medicine bag is found. "Wow, we lost two doctors last night", declares Albert B. Rampage. Qwints, now shivering because he is so nervous, grabs the medicine bag, to find something stitched inside, which reads "Hohum's Medicine Bag". "Yes, I was right", says an overexcited qwints, as he pulls out his empty pistol. It appears Light-Kun wasn't a doctor, but rather a roleblocker. As they check the dead body some more, they find a gun and a cell phone. When looking in the contacts list, they find two names: "BrianMcQueso" and "Cateraction". Everyone cheers, knowing they got the last scum!
Town:
Tracker
Gunsmith
One-Shot Vig
Paranoid Doctor
5 Vanilla Townie's
I tried making the setup powerful enough on both sides to actually turn it into a mountainous game. With 2 Roleblockers, and so many wifom'd roles, i wanted it to come down to scum hunting and not night results. It actually worked out the way i had it planned in my head: Tracker claims Day 1, Paranoid Doctor has to decide to protect him or not, Gunsmith finds Vig Night 1. So much WIFOM!!
I also made the setup so that a mass claim shouldn't break it. Each one of the scum had a good claim that would have made mass claim pointless.
Also if anyone wants a good laugh, go back and read when the massclaim idea was still up in the air. Every one of the power roles was debating whether or not there were any Vanilla's in the game, and every one of the Vanilla's were trying to stop the discussion. I figured someone would eventually catch on.
Also, something else quite funny. One of the points for Kublia Khan-town was that scum would rather sacrifice him over a Godfather if he was scum and tied wagons, except the scum never knew cateraction was a Godfather. He was the last to claim, so therefore never had the chance to post in the QT thread his role. So most likely the scum assumed he was a goon, and would have rather sacrificed him over the other two anyways.
