@Kast- Do you think that Snow_Bunny was trying to discuss that ongoing game?

@Alm- I want an answer to my question. I wrote "seriously" in there for a reason.

it's not necessarily important how that is done.
I don't know that I agree with this, though. Would you say that ending the RVS by making a scummy move is ok? If someone does this and then states that this was their reason, should the scummy move be viewed less harshly?

Unconnected questions- Was your Vote Random? If so, do you still consider it to be Random?

--------------------------------
Alm wrote:The quotes were random, btw.
The quotes you chose were pretty specific and as Chinaman pointed out, a bit hostile/mean. I can't help but think that you chose them for a reason and would like to know what those reason were.

--------------------------------

@jason, Kdub, and Chinaman- Thoughts on the current Alm/Kast/Zach discussion?

--------------------------------

@Mod
- When cateraction hits his first prod without confirming, are you going to start searching for a replacement?

Disclaimer- I know the board's only been open 24hrs, I'm just curious.

Yes, I'll start looking for a replacement after 72 hours...

I haven't gotten the chance to read the last big chunk of activity, but I saw a lurker Vote in there. That doesn't sit too well with me considering there are others in the same boat as Bogre. I'll ask some followups once I have the full read done; as I could've skimmed it wrong.

Let me start off by saying
UnVote:Chinaman

Alm wrote:How does Chinaman know this is a game of Sith vs. Jedi?
That's a good catch, but I'm ok with his posted reasoning for now. It's definitely something to keep in mind for later, though.
I think Chinaman has insider information and a specific win condition that is different from the town's.
This does concern me a bit, though. I know the connotation is that he has
Scum
insider info, but I can't help but get a bit of a RoleFishing feel to this statement.

On to my previously discussed topic...
PHANTOM wrote:What happened to Bogre? It would be intersting to see what he thinks of this, since he's only posted a confirm message. But just to make sure he's here:

unvote, Vote: Bogre
So I caught up and read the quoted post again and I can now officially say that I don't like it. First, youpersonally only have a confirmation, an RVS Vote, a single content post and then your Vote post on the same person as your RVS Vote, coincidentally. cateraction has the exact same posting history as Bogre and Snow_Bunny isn't too far ahead {with an RVS Vote and a pic}. Why did you single out Bogre for this?

Along those lines...

@Alm-
I'd like to hear more from I'd like to hear more from Bogre, cateraction, and snow bunny. The first two especially.
Why the first 2 over S_B? What makes her any different?

Alm wrote:I don't see how the rhetoric "insider information" is loaded w/ a rolefish at all.
Well I didn't say that it was "loaded" with RoleFishing, I said "a bit of a RoleFish". It's a question of degrees, but that's ultimately a semantics debate that won't get us anywhere, imo.
although townies sometimes get additional powers, they rarely get additional information (for obvious reasons)
ProTown PRs gain additional information throughout the game. Also, just because something rarely happens doesn't mean you can discount it as a possibility. As this is a Theme Game with the potential for nonstandard Roles, we simply don't
know
if anyone has additional information.

My point was that it felt a bit like could be a RoleFish.

Did that cover your request as well, Zach?

Well, that's the second half of the sentence; the first has to do with additional information. The only players with additional information are Scum and PRs. Hence my concern.

I don't wish to continue this discussion because it goes into PR RoleFishing and as that was my initial concern, I don't think that's good a good thing for us. If you would like me to please say so, but it won't be on my head.

Open question to everyone, but I'm mostly interested in those on the Chinaman wagon {although I already know PHANTOM's answer}.

Have you read the Legacy of the Force series {specifically the 1st book Betrayal}?

I'll answer the easiest thing first. Yes, I can easily confirm that Chinaman plays pretty erratically as Town. I know him irl and have played a number of games with him here on MS and he's usually under a lot of suspicion for gambits and strange plays. That was part of the reason I wasn't so hot to crucify him during the 'Scum slip' thing.

Along those lines, I asked if anyone had read the book because there was a lot of stuff going around about who is and who isn't in this game {Jedi vs Sith}. I haven't read the series, but am familiar enough to know that it
is
a Jedi vs Sith book. That doesn't mean that Chinaman didn't Scumslip, but I was worried he might have Jedi slipped. Anyone familiar with the books would know that both Jedi and Sith would be expected to be in this game. I'm ultimately worried about the speed of the wagon that built on Chinaman.

I've got to say, I don't see how Kdub being Luke would 'help the Town' as Chinaman suggested in p159...

{just previewed}

@S_B- Why the UnVote? Kdub was L-3, so he was in no real danger of getting Lynched. Did you find his RoleClaim so convincing? Why not wait for any possible CounterClaims?

Kdub, you are suggesting that he was willing to out you so that he could confirm you as Town? Chinaman is reckless, but that's kind of ridiculous. He was well on his way to getting mislynched and you'd be setup for the NK. That's basically a guaranteed 2 Town loss D1 from his perspective. Or are you suggesting that he also knew that you were 1 shot NK Immune?

Nacho... I don't know how to tell you this, but Snow_Bunny's... dead.

She can't be Scum because...
The Mod wrote:
Snow_Bunny - Zekk, Town Enabler(To Jaina Solo), Killed Night 2
Regarding your second point...
The Mod wrote:The first was Tahiri, the late Anakin Solo's girlfriend, who was found
shot in the back with a blaster
...

The second was Zekk, a Jedi long known to be pursuing Jaina Solo, he was found to be
hit with two seperate blaster shots

I'm not suggesting anything. I think speculation on Night Actions usually ends up in a bad place.

In p364, you asked...
What makes you think that one of the blaster shots was a one-kill shot
It would stand to reason that if it only took a single shot to kill one player, a dead body with 2 seperate blaster shots was targetted twice, hence Bogre's theory on 4 NKs.

Why did you bring up a One-Shot Vig in p367-369 {lol}? How did me quoting the Mod look like I was suggesting anything?

-----------------------

@Bogre- Please restate your case on PHANTOM. I'm having a hard time of it as your posts are pretty vague {hint- quotes help}. You're accusing him of not contributing. Is that it?

Can you go a little more into detail on this, cat? Specifically, I'd like to know how you both staying alive means that you're thinking Nacho's more likely to be Scum.
PHANTOM wrote:I'm confused about what a skitzo is. The wiki says that he's never mafia, so does that mean that AlmasterGM was just a townie?

Something's not sitting too well with me right now. We had 3 to 4 NKs {depending on S_B's death}. We have claims from 3 players that they don't have NKs. I know I don't have an NK ability, so that leaves PHANTOM and Bogre. Unless they
both
have the ability to NK, we have 2 Scum Teams and some seriously weird shit went down N1.

I am Nelani Dinn, Jedi Knight {aka VT}. I have a bit of information about setup, but no other powers.

I know that Jacen Solo is in this game and I know that he's recruitable Scum, but I don't know who is playing him.
