It goes into the 2010 noms, This was an issue for Crackers Mafia last year.

It missed awards season. Have to time it so it finishes roughly in november.

I am. That was there not because of the spirit of bandwagoning, but because I read it, and because it was awesome.

Make sure you don't assume things I wouldn't do. When in doubt, ask. You don't know why I never assume anything.

suggestion: next year, each player only gets two votes/nominations. It would be interesting to see a bit more deliberation and a few less entries - I have the feeling if every player posted the two absolutely greatest things they saw this year (unless that thing was already thirded of course) they would put a bit more effort in to it and I in turn would be motivated to see these for myself instead of blindly scrolling through a linkwall.

(edit thought: or maybe nominations should be free, but you don't actually second/third/(fourth?) things until nominations close at the end of the year. otherwise people might be afraid to nominate early in the year.)

that being said, it's easy enough to look at the moderator nominations and a couple that I can't believe are only on the single nomination stage:

Because asymmetry is always really interesting. From skimming around the thread it seems it wasn't quite explicit enough for some of the player's tastes, but it's such a cool concept that the small details don't really matter. This idea of one-direction confirmed needs to show up more, I think.

At first I thought it was like, lurkers are modkilled, and I thought 'that would be a nice change of pace.' But when I actually took the time to read how exactly the mechanic worked, I was blown away. This takes the classic dilemma of 'it's anti-town, but is it scummy?' and turns it up several dials to 'it's harmless if they're town, but very very bad if they are scum.' It turns it into a game of 'how many lives are you willing to bank your town read on?' Yos, you need to open-source this - I want to see LAL games as far as the eye can see.

Me, shanba, and Jdodge are all exceptionally lazy so we just wait for khan to do it(I merged the old entries in to the new categories, and shanba has updated once, but I believe every other update was khan).

Yeah, if other people want to run a Lynch All Lurkers game, just let me now; it'd be fine by me. I was quite happy with how it worked.
