You weren't there. Look at the timestamps - it was obscene. I usually check MS around once a day if it isn't a weekend. I'd come back to the thread a day later to find that people had spammed 5 or 6 pages, lots of it irrelevant or unhelpful in scumhunting. It was like replacing into a game every day, pretty daunting and discouraging. Most of the games I've played have been less than 25 pages, this one had a 25-page Day 1.

An interesting observation of mine: I vote Neto for lurking, among other things. Neto votes Lowell for, as I understand the case, lurking. Zach votes me for lurking. Then, Zach says he doesn't know why Neto and Lowell are being run up. Just an alarming little pattern I noticed.

I don't really care. He's saying that the high activity level thing was an excuse. It was not. If he wants to think that we must immediately therefore be scum together because everyone was posting 6 pages in a day, fine. I'm not going to avoid saying something for fear of confirming some piss-weak scumhunting theory Zach has come up with. Being overly concerned about appearing scummy is what scum do.

Well this is just wonderful.

I really do not like Espeon's 749 for what I hope are obvious reasons.

I still prefer a Lowell lynch to anything else but if he's not going to show up I don't really want to ram a lynch through on that slot without giving him a chance to claim.

While Neto's certainly on the scummier side of things (especially his flip re: monkey, but that's all old ground) I don't want to take the easy lynch (even though I'm not sure we can organize this lurkertastic town on anyone else) at this juncture because that seems awfully convenient for the scum.

Let's give Lowell a day to pick up his prod. If he doesn't show up by then I'll look into starting up a different wagon.

"And so there were..." Lowell says finally, breaking the awkward silence.

Espeonage counts on his fingers, then cries out, "8!!"

Sakako paced back and forth in his room that night, too nervous to get any sleep. He finally decided to lay down in his bed, but then he *thought* he heard a sound...

"Must be just the wind..." He muttered. It almost sounded...like whispering voices, evil.

Fear twisted his senses, and began playing mind games with him. He could feel something cold crawling on his leg, but upon throwing the covers off, he saw nothing. His arms, his legs, his whole body quivered from the chill.

He heard his bedroom door creak ever so slightly. Sakako considered looking over, but thought to himself, "No. There is nothing there. Nothing's going to hurt me. I'm not going to look. I'm not going to look..."

The last thing he felt was the slice of a knife blade across his neck.

Yeah, the math checks out. We're probably in MYLO and there are no clearly confirmed townies so it's worth no-lynching today.

I find it interesting that Nik supports no-lynching because didn't vote for it, presumably for this 'unless role info wink wink nudge nudge'. That being said, I don't really want to lynch someone today unless I'm feeling 100% they're scum because if we hit a townie today and lose I'll feel awfully stupid.

Almaster, do you support the no-lynch, or are you serious in that you're calling Nikanor 100% scum with his rolefishing comment? You haven't voted either way so it's hard to tell which side you're on.

The only problem with no lynching is that we go from 2 misplaced town votes leading to a quick hammer to only one misvote leading to such. It takes away any room for error.

It's a matter of deciding whether the next NK is going to really help the town that much or not.

Personally, I think we should lynch Nikanor and see where we're at after that. (And maybe mislynch then.)

Yeah, I'm pretty confident that Nikanor will flip scum. (Moreso than the other reads I mentioned yesterday)
