You're the ruler of this great land, but you have some dissidents that want to end your life for the betterment of the lower class (and who really cares about them, you have the Divine Right to be King!) You have seven guards, but you're not that trustworthy so you don't know who they are in case you ever got captured. There's also talk of an Assassin out there, so try not to die and keep rolling in your riches!

Guard wrote:Hrmph. You're a guard. You're the lowly peons sent to sacrifice yourself for the greater good. Specifically, you better make sure the King lives. If he dies, your meal ticket is out, and failing in your only job in life won't look good on your resume.
Do whatever it takes to not let him die and lynch any Assassins out there (helpful hint: there's 1 Assassin, the lower class could only find one sucker to try to off the person you're sworn to protect)

You have one goal, to kill the King (the filthy Monarch!). Obviously you'll get plenty of glory and riches and ... other things if you complete your goal.
You have one kill to be used at any time during the game. If you fail to kill the King, you lose. If you put your Assassin sword through his heart, however, you pretty much rule and win.
Be wary, though; there are seven Guards sworn to protect the King from the likes of you, so try not to get caught.
Huh? What kind of bullshit is this? If he's town, then he has a pretty damn good reason to argue against his own lynch, as he knows, nothing good will come from it.You are aware that by arguing against your own lynch you are being anti-town right?
Ok, fair enough. The wiki scenario looks more more like an 'okay, I was for quicklynches for the first few days, but now as you selected me, I'm against it' argument, rather than just arguing against the method in the first place (and being the first one selected comes as a bonus), like here with RC.Seraphim wrote:To be fair, his logic isn't completely bullshit...read this:

The second part discusses the breaking strategy that Scorpion is trying to implement.
I signed here to play with a bunch people I played with before and had fun (incidentally both of those people are already on 'against' side of this discussion). Coin flip is not fun.wiki wrote:Whilst the assassin(s) can still win with this play, it becomes much more a random coin flip than a calculated decision.
