 DOES NOT wordwrap.  does. So if your monitor resolution is smaller than ani's, you won't see everything he does. That's why 
 is really only good for things with short line lengths, like ASCII art.

Nope. This is a brand new Win7 install, so I haven't investigated available fonts yet, but still, it should have changed font-

Surprisingly pretty with a big monitor, but down around 900 pixels it starts to wrap in unpleasant ways. And remember that PMs are narrower than threads...

I think it degrades more gracefully if the role is on top and the WC is underneath. Then if a multi-line role pushes it into line wrap, the related stuff is more likely to stay 'in' the bracket.

Is what - that it won't autoparse things next to the tag? Seems to be either intentional on the part of phpBB3 or very very hard to fix. Smileys will do the same thing.

Place a space before/after the link, after/before the tag you're wrapping it in, and it will work 99% of the time.

You still should. HTML (which is ultimately what the BBCode tag is rendering) is forgiving in some situations, and on some browsers, but there's never any guarantee that will continue, and your posts may break for someone else or in the future.

Plus, it's kind to our OCD scummers.

So each [/___] tag closes the most recently opened tag, even if that's not the one it looks like it ought to close.

I'm pretty sure that's because in that case it's replacing [/__] with </span>, so it doesn't care IN THAT CASE what order they're in. It's the same reason some of the block-level tags will end abruply when you nest them; </div> happens.

Yeah, I'm regretting adding a font tag at all. It was SUPPOSED to be used so people could put in a generic monospace, serif, or sans font-family specification. Anything else is setting yourself up for failure.

Arial will be on almost all Windows computers, but not necessarily other operating systems. You're probably looking at a 5-10% failure rate given our site demographics, but it will fail over decently.

Too lazy to type six or eight extra letters, Flay?

I noticed people were trying to use the VOTE: shortcut after Kison implemented it for Site Chat. It's easy to make aliases for bbcodes.

Theme/tag colors can adjust per theme. If you hardcode a CCAAEE or whatever, it's gonna be read as that no matter what theme you're in.

At least, that's the way it worked when I had ACP control.
