I think it is a good strategy to briefly posit what universe we are playing the game in. It might clarify people's role functions, etc.

At least one player (Ythan) had posted beliefs that seemed odd to be put together (millar is scum AND millar is humanKerriganOnly AND zergKerrigan is out there and scum), which either indicates that scum (or town, I guess, but it's easier to get mixed up like this as scum, I think) got mixed up, or that he assumes a game universe I had not been creative enough to think up. So I asked which one applied, and he got all defensive by a) attacking MY suggested game universe, which was not the question asked and then b) framing the issue as if I was using rhetoric against him (complain/concern semantics complaint). I also thought his page 1 thing was a scumslip, but that's really old news.

I'm repeating all that in the event that Ythan has a bad memory and isn't obfuscating matters deliberately.

This is the page 1 Ythan post I am referring to. Scum are more likely to have these kinds of complaints about fakeclaims than town are about realclaims. Town are more likely to see an off town role as part of the game; scum are more likely to see an off fakeclaim as just being a shitty fakeclaim.

Most of my wins are achieved through ordered, logical play. I like breaking things down into their most simplest explanations and then working from there. I also tend to probe at one or two specific players until I get a good read on them, then shift my focus to someone who had previously been coasting by.

I haven't ever encountered an ability like what we saw earlier in this game, and I am really confused by it. I understand the lowering of a threshold for a lynch from L-3 to L-2 or whatever, but who would think to put that into their game?

My initial problem with millar's post 113 still stands. Not sure why Ythan thinks it's weak. You can't confirm in a game, later say you never got your role PM, then suddenly have it all make sense by saying "oops, EBWOP: I actually did get it, my bad".

I'm feeling worse and worse about Ythan's play. He's been defending millar too much for my liking.

This is still as poor reasoning as it was back then. You reference posts 119 and 232 as your basis for suspecting me. That's what I was talking about in the preceding quotes and then refuting a claim that millar had not done something or other that I had seen him doing.

What I said was your cases appear to be composed entirely of wiki tells and little else. What that indicates to me is that you aren't putting any effort in to your scum hunting. You're listing ways in which players violate the wiki meta and acting like it's rock solid. It's not that the wiki tells themselves aren't always reliable, it's your lacklustre attempt at catching scum.
