My numerous experiences with Frank have not been good. I wouldnt want him to have a title as I dont think he has done anything notable towards getting one. I also think he has been a detriment to the community on this site so far. This might be harsh but I think he has had long enough to prove himself. Its up to Omans rules whether he feels that playstyle and attitude towards others should count towards gaining a title, I personally wouldn't.

Also I dont like the title.

I don't understand any of this post. I gave you the general idea of what the title's about here. If you want to witness the experience of Furcolow for yourself, here's a game that just ended where Furcolow played more or less as usual; quadrupleposting his thoughts, absolutely sure he's right, using his (perceived and probably actual) likely-Townie status as a billy-club, changing his mind frequently and aggressively following whatever beliefs he had at the time, and showed Iecerint in particular that he's THE wild card of the site. "Squirrel" is a play on his name and (unfortunately now changed) avatar, "Rave" is an accurate description of three consecutive posts about how someone is definitely scum (as opposed to a few pages ago where someone else was definitely scum).

I don't think anyone has actually said it's an unfitting title, so much as complained about Furcolow getting a title on principle.

We could always give him the title Frank.

Vi, I'm not saying that you haven't explained it. I'm just talking about the huge amount of contention about whether or not it's a viable title. The amount of people who are saying no gives me an instant aversion to it, but it's only fair that I at least take a look at whether this is a "negative" playstyle.

Furcolow is another example of players willing to be act stupid (he does) and borderline arrogant and get rewarded with the Spotlight for it.

Personally I could probably name 20+ other MS players who are more deserving of a title.

If zwetchenwasser has a title with as poor of a player he is, then Furcolow should not be black listed from having a title. Although Furcolow isn't necessarily a good player either, so I won't defend him further.

My title is for making lots of posts. I know that's confusing because it's so subtle but there's a pretty straightforward explanation for you.

I believe he meant just that. You didn't get a title for exceptional play. You got a title for posting a lot and having a difficult ISO. Your title in particular has nothing to do with your skill level at mafia. It's already been said many times that titles are given for notable/unique playstyles and things rather than being good at mafia. If that were true then TBM, Parama and Nachomamma would have titles by now.

That being said, I still don't think Furcolow deserves a title. It's not that his play is bad, but that he isn't distinguishable from many of the other mafia trolls/VIs on this site. If he was indeed unique and had a good reason for getting a title, I'd be more open to him getting one. For now, I object.
