That's like... what makes druids druids. It's not an optional part of the class. It's not a nerf in terms of damage or whatever. I don't really follow much, I just clicked on the patch notes to see what was going on and if druids are op or whatever at the moment, then fine, nerf the shit out of them. But changing that just makes druids... boring.

Don't say I didn't warn you. I posted about this like 10 pages ago. pugs are mentally retarded and kick anyone but the tank regardless of whose fault it actually was.

I said I was going to quit WoW but now that Archeology is profitable I'm leveling that and kind of hoping that my old guild lets me go raiding with them anyways once I get a few epics under my belt. >_> I'm hopeless.

Except they weren't. There was a point when rake was dealing straight up double damage, and people cried OP because it was. Then that was fixed and people continued to cry OP despite ferals never moving beyond the middle pack in terms of competitive rankings. Then Blizzard shifted some damage from bleeds to direct damage, made it so beserk doesn't break fear or provide immunity, nerfed bear by 20% and made it so shapeshifting won't break roots.

Feral isn't viable for PvP right now at all, and it could have been avoided by just doing something simple like increasing form mana cost so a feral only has mana for four or so shifts.

That's really not my point. Nerf their damage to shit or something if you must, but shapeshifting breaking roots and snares changes fundamentally how druids are played. Like, immunity to cc is a pretty huge thing, and it almost defined the druid playstyle for me. Come out of cat get some burst get rooted change to caster heal with nature's swiftness get rooted change to bear charge get snared change out and back hit pvp trinket to break fear. It's just what druids

Rigthio, there is still a resto talent that makes shifting break root. Other than that, I really didn't think that breaking root is that significant to druid identification. Maybe because I've always played melee so druids coming up to me was always great. And if they ran I usually let them.

I'm kinda relieved. I can't tell you how many times I've given up on SFK after the tenth wipe on Baron Ashbury thanks to mend rotting fucking flesh. On one hand, it sucks for those of us who did have to go through his bullshit... on the other hand, it's going to make SFK runs much easier.

This. Even when I played as my druid, I don't think I ever really used the break root trick on purpose. Of course, that could just be because I hate PvP with a passion. It's hard out there for a shadow priest

PS, tonight is going to be my WoW-a-thon night. After a few nights of little to no playing, I need a few heroic runs, I need a raid, and I need to level my Shaman with dramonic. TONIGHT. IT. HAPPENS.
