Alliance has 45 possible race/class combinations, and Horde has 46. That leaves about 25-30 impossible combos.

My point isn't that he joked about an impossible combination, it's the fact that he included a spec in his claim, when our roles don't have specs listed with them. If he had an actual town role PM, I would've expected a joke claim of "Hey guys I'm a gnome pally... lol" but he took the claim, be it real or fake, too far by adding in "ret" to the claim.

But no, nothing specific about GNOME PALADIN is particularly funny. I think "Undead Paladin" would've been more obviously funny, since Undead are notorious for being bastards to the rest of the Horde/Alliance... not to mention they dwell in the darkness, so a darkness-dweller being a defender of the light is obviously funny.

First off, if the person with the one shot died every night, then you'd be OBVSCUM therefore it wouldn't be OKAY TO DO.

As for flavor, what IHSIB was referring to there was the class/race combination stuff, and the people claiming that "Oh! So-and-so isn't in Cataclysm (the newest expansion), therefore the flavor doesn't fit!". Which is why he said "It is not impossible for the flavor to encompass any and all aspects of the game, in any of its forms.", because he was SPECIFICALLY REFERRING TO TIME PERIODS WITHIN WOW ITSELF, not the mechanics of the game.

Kairyuu made the point that, "Oh, this is set in old-school Deadmines because we're fighting so-and-so, therefore class/race combos X, Y, and Z are impossible", and that was the mod's response.

The whole game is themed around not the flavor of the game itself, but the flavor of PLAYING the game itself. This is why all the modscenes are party chat logs, and the kill flavors are "ragequit" and "kicked from the dungeon". You know what fits perfect into that flavor model? Having the players roll for loot.

I've argued my case and tried to explain why I'm town. The only summary I can give is this:

- I led a wagon on Enigma, who was scum, D1.
- I used my vote-sap ability to hammer Enigma D1.
- I am publicly ability confirmed as using the vote-sap, which means I cannot be a roleblocker. Period.
- Overall, I contributed to the game more than Parama, and actually did some scumhunting and useful shit instead of lurking through the entire game then hoping for an easy win at the end.
- Not to mention, I got a guilty on him.
- Parama is claiming to be day-blocked, which is bullshit, seeing as how all the other blocks were magically at night, and there were NO other day abilities.

I could explain Parama's ability one of two ways: either he IS a scum inventor who chose to give stuff out to confirm himself, OR there is indeed a hidden need/greed mechanic which scum is privy too. Neither of those make perfect sense, logically, but there has to be an explanation.

Anyway, do what you want. If we lose at this stage, gg Parama & co., and it will just further go to show that lynch all lurkers really is a good policy. Also, maybe it'll go to show Kairyuu that he shouldn't try to use his bullshit HEY GUYS LET'S MASSCLAIM SO I CAN TRY TO BREAK THE SETUP tactics anymore.

Enigma wasn't surviving past D1 because I called him out on his bullshit. Nobody else would've caught that. Starbuck caught on to something else which was complete bullshit, but the main thing that sold it was the thing that I, specifically, picked up on. I used sap because after Enigma flipped scum, I didn't want to die overnight without having used at least one of my abilities, and PLUS I thought (welp maybe this'll draw the kill since I have a one-shot kill dodge) WHICH IT DID.

Only thing here is, what exactly is this scum mechanism? There's nothing to Parama from gifting buddies (also seems broken), so why would Parama continue to shell out stuff to townies?

Actually, we were all just saboteurs. With three alive, we could vote-steal. With two alive, we could roleblock. With one alive, we could kill.

I'm a little upset by a few things, but I tried my damned hardest. We knew we were toast on Day 3. I had a lot of thoughts typed up, but they got erased. Essentially:

#1) There were WAY too many confirmable town roles in this setup. Parama & Antihero could confirm themselves quite easily, not to mention the fact that with each investigation/tracker they gave out, we had a significantly higher chance of being found out as well.

#2) On top of that, there was a doctor who could save one person per night, PLUS a bulletproof vest that was given out, PLUS Sathoris was a one-shot bulletproof. That's three people our kill would fail on during any given night.

#3) Had we opted to kill someone else instead of ender (like, Parama or Antihero), we probably still could have won this game. The ender kill was us trying to hit the cop-giver-outer, and we had it narrowed down to ender/Antihero... but we thought we could push a mislynch on Anithero, so we shot ender instead.

Despite all the complaints, I have to say this was the perfect game to be my last mini theme. I had a lot of fun, it was challenging, and in my 20+ games of being scum, smargaret was one of the best scumbuddies I've ever had. I truly enjoyed this game, I laughed out loud IRL at the flavor, and I have to hand it to Kairyuu & Antihero. Kairyuu did his typical "Watch me break the game and win this for town" thing, and it worked flawlessly. And Antihero made the right call in endgame, despite my best efforts to confuse him.
