This game makes my brain hurt.

I don't like that Shift spent so much energy on defending, and then explaining about defending, T-Bone.

C-Worl is just getting scummier and scummier.

RF is appearing solid Town, and that worries me a little. I need to go refresh my meta on him.

Lowell has disappeared again, which is null for him.

jindori reminds me of a hyperactive puppy, so excited to be here that he jumps and bounds and caroms off the walls. Town, but a little overzealous (which is not bad).

Holy shit, this game.

Caveat: I still have to read pages 24 & 25, but this was getting long so I wanted to post it now and go on.

First things first. I'd like to remind everyone that this game is a Large
NORMAL.
A scum faction that does not need to kill off the Town simply
does not exist
in this game. That being said, I have no reason to keep claimed scum alive. (A vote was going here, but is not for reasons explained in a bit.)

Now, for some questions.
jindori wrote:well tclawren you got alot of info and the truth so i geuss you and pine are either mafia or masons.
I'm sorry, what? Please show me a connection between tclawren and Pine. I've missed something in your fabulous (read: flailing) logic.
Pine wrote:Okay, I just re-read this whole mess again, and I'm just not sure jindori has the capacity or experience for the subterfuge of trying to convince Town that eastside wolves are pro-Town. And if their objectives ARE what jindori claims, then they ARE pro-Town, and killing them is NOT required by Town wincon. Eastside as jindori claims it sounds more like a Mason group with a kill ability. Kise looks like something, but fuck if I know what. Starting to suspect I'm the only Town player. That would actually make a cool game, with a very tiny Town and numerous scum factions.

@More experienced players: Have any of you ever seen a situation with two wolf packs, one Town-neutral and one anti-Town?
Because I'm actually starting to believe jindori.

UNVOTE: jindori
VOTE: tclawren

jindori is going to eventually get killed by westside wolves anyway, let's not waste a lynch on him right now. If he's still alive a day or two from now, and eastside DOES look anti-Town, then yeah. tclawren is looking more and more like scum with every post, either westside wolves or, more likely, Mafia. I say Mafia is more likely, because he seems to care more that jindori is a wolf and less that he's eastside alignment.

Apologies for the rambling explanation of reasoning. The last few hours are a clusterfuck.
As for the bolded part, NO. Such a thing
would not exist
in a Normal game on this site.

You're quasi-defending jindori pretty hard and trying to keep him alive. Why?
RayFrost wrote:If you don't believe me on it, feel free to get shot in the face. Harumph.

Also: werewolves = werewolves, whether it's more than one or not is meh. I suggest we leave indori alive for a night or two. Tcwalren's scummy, but c-worl and snakeplissken are scum.

Guys, please decide between these two. They are both scum, but I have no certainty that they are mafia or otherwise.
:goodposting:

I will only agree to leave jindori alive for one night, though. No reason to let him live tomorrow if he doesn't die tonight. Thoughts?
Pine wrote:The same logic goes for saying that VTs are a threat to Town because of the lynch power.
I'm glad you amended that here, otherwise I was going to call you an idiot. And you make sense in the linked post. But how about we lynch jindori tomorrow if he survives tonight?
jindori wrote:
RaudhrGarm wrote:VOTE: Jindori
His win condition may not be to kill the town, but does that mean he isn't a threat to us? Nope. If these west/east-side werewolves have the ability to kill someone at night, that makes them an automatic threat to the town. How do they know that they're hitting their target? They don't, and we could end up losing town power roles very quickly if we let these guys live.
What happens if i hit a mafia or a threat two town thats like a double edge blade. Also who says eastside are have the same objective as westside. your argument can be done both ways. Also think of it like two games of mafia smashed into one i'm like a villy version west side werewolf role anyway i can only vote anyway.
A) If you kill a mafia or a werewolf tonight, thank you. But if you don't die yourself tonight, you need to be lynched tomorrow. That's just obvious.

B) All non-town factions always have the same wincon: sole survival. Even SKs have to be the only one alive to win. Remember, this is a Normal game.

More soon, as I read through this horrendous clusterfuck.

A Day 1 lynch of scum is always beneficial.
The first part of the quote is a tacit admission that one of the three known non-Town alignments is not anti-Town. More evidence of T-Bone as an eastside werewolf to heap onto the pile. It is also a logical fallacy. With multiple non-Town alignments, we would only be wasting a day if we mislynched AND the opposing non-Towns failed to kill him AND today would be the day we eliminated his entire side. And he isn't going anywhere. If his story sours, we can lynch him at any time.

Second part of the quote is true, which is why I look forward to a lynch of C-Worl or T-Bone today.
Wow, amazing catch Pine.
FoS: T-Bone

I am now okay with a T-Bone lynch--though I believe my case against C-Worl remains stronger, this is a pretty clear-cut slip and his logic is, indeed, fallacious.
I see no "proof" that we have three anti-town factions. We KNOW there is Mafia, and we KNOW there is Westside Werewolves. We only have jindori's word that there are Eastside Werewolves. Caveat: still haven't read pages 24-25. I will, eventually. I think I'll need alcohol, though.

@EL: Don't start with me. I'll re-address this after reading the two pages of likely-nothingness.

Also, the Mafia could be "Eastside" and the Werewolves "Westside." Anyone think of that? No? Okay, then. I seriously doubt there are two werewolf factions.

Let's examine this.

A) He addresses the "MAFIA PEOPLE"
B) He says "DON'T ROLEBLOCK ME"
C) He says "I'M GOING IN TONIGHT"
D) He says "WE'LL SEE WHOS GOTA GUN"

From A) we can gather he's either Town or Lying Mafia.
From B) we can ascertain that he is a power role (or, again, Lying Mafia).
From C) we can assume he's going to attack you (or is, say it with me, Lying Mafia).
From D) we can infer that he's a killing role (Town Vig, 3rd party Serial Killer, or, you know it by now, Lying Mafia).

Since I have my doubts about your towniness, Reck, I'll assume your alignment based on Kise's flip.

A few quick points:
This is multiball. So if someone seems anti-town, yet are willingly voted by known anti-town, they might just be anti-town from another faction.

implosion summed up the NS post pretty well. NS is saying he's town or scum. No real reasoning given for either viewpoint over the other. Also NS missed a possible Point:
(Town Vig, 3rd party Serial Killer, or, you know it by now, Lying Mafia,
or Gambiting townie
)
What's more, the slant of NS's post "lying
mafia
" = Wolfslip?

- I don't believe Kise is scum. Gambitting maybe, but not scum.
- I'm choosing to believe Reck/Dram IS a PGO, and thus town. After all, we have 2 anti-town teams + possible SK. a PGO could be an important balancing factor.
- NS's biased post seems like it comes from an anti-town perspective.

Not a wolfslip; I'm just unaccustomed to playing with multifactions, and anything not town is automatically mafia (to me).

And yes, Kise could be a gambiting townie, but I hate that, too.

@NS: Why would you want to kill a town aligned vig? You have not answered this question.
Normally, a town-aligned vig is not a big deal; but I don't trust Kise (after that gambit with jindori) or his reads, so I'd prefer him dead.

Clear now?
....what?

You can't seriously be blaming the entire game stalling on one player? Tell me you didn't just do that.

I've gotten really busy the last day or so. I promise answers before I go to bed tonight.
