I will fill it with golden track as I find the gold, thanks for the anonymous donator who left a few more ores in my chest this morning

'fore I went to bed I got most of the first level of my maze done. Lined the border with cobblestone, just 'cuz.

I've never seen a tree with a trunk thicker than one block. And I'm pretty sure a majority of those leaf blocks were consoled in.

Edit: Just noticed all the normal sized trees surrounding it that it towers over. Ya, there's no way its not artificial. It's still awesome though

His 8 spot is tree trunks. Prety sure that explains the size of the tree, and probably means that the trunk is hollow, which is bad ass.

It explains the size of the trunk, but thats a duh statement. The issue is you cannot place leaf blocks without the /give command

Could he have planted trees , and then built the megatrunk, so that the leaves didn't die afterward? Seems like a lot of work, but people are up to it...

The way those leaves are so far outward from the wood means he'd have to had destroyed the trees underneath of them, so far as I am aware.

Actually, yeah Chevre, that is how they do Megatrees, they built them from the top down. You plant the top trees, then a layer below them, then a layer below them, cutting away the trunks that are not needed to support the leaf blocks.

So yeah, a lot of work (and bones!) but not necessarily cheating. I think I saw a thread on the minecraft forum about these megatrees before.

IIRC, there's a large tundra somewhere. It says the coordinates on the billboard.

There's a snow biome over the mountains to the North. If you make it to X: 100, z: 2500, my cross has a pretty badass tundra near it. There was one spot with an above ground lavafall, surrounded by snow. Also a ton of clay nearby that you could make into bricks to build with.

BTW, I have placed golden tracks on about 4/5ths of the way to Grahje/Esurio station. As soon as I have enough gold I will do the rest of the tracks.

Also, there is a huge cave in the middle of this Tunnel, I have explored about 2/3rds of it, if anyone wants to help me explore the rest, any help would be appreciated!
