Hey Chevre, no worries. We had a very strange streak of 4 creepings in a row in an otherwise reasonably lighted up building (could be just a run of bad luck...), but all of the damage has been rapaired.

Thanks to whoever did the huge donation in the MSTA drop box. I will use that gold plus some I recently found to help making the Casa-de-Awesome <-> Esurio Connection.

I seem to be the only person more excited about maps than mod API.

Notch just posted today on twitter that he is working on making it possible to put maps on walls.

Now THAT would be a really cool feature.

I am here to report two things:

1. The skeleton farmer thing is repaired completely. You may now return to your bone and arrow collecting from it. This brings me to...

2. Unless there were multiple creepers down there, or an electrified one down there (dear god I don't want to see one of those coming at me), the skeleton trap was griefed. That is a 5x5 wall of glass in the trap, and 20 of the glass blocks had been destroyed.

Also: Some traps require netherrack and soul sand. As we all know there are none on SMP. How can we get them on the server?

jmj, not necessarily griefing - Glass has a very low resistance value, which means that a single creeper can destroy a lot of glass. 5x5 is not THAT big, and certainly within creepable range.

Like all explosions, if a creeper detonates whilst surrounded/in water, its explosion has no effect on blocks, but will still cause damage to players and other mobs

Granted, the water might be shallow enough to not stop the explosion, but a creepers explosion is apparently 4x4x4, centered on it. Not impossible, but highly unlikely.

Unless other people report griefing I'd rather err on the side of assuming it wasn't griefing.

Why would someone just a grief glass from a trap?

I think a creeper blew it up. At night sometimes skeletons shoot arrows into creepers and they explode. Even if you are not around. Happened to me.

Tarps? Only trap I had in mind was one-way iron doors in certain areas to kinda get people to stick with the maze til the end.

I know the can't escape trap that requires soul sand. The burning and then getting stuck trap. The dispenser that shoots arrows until someone stops it.

The water, lava, water wall. And many others I didn't consider good enough to kill players.

yeah their website is very underdeveloped :B Last I checked the guys working on it have gotten 1000's of messages asking to join their alpha server and they're telling everyone to just wait.

Terraria is very obviously a rip-off, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was fake.

:B It's hardly a rip off. It has similarities, which is why I find it interesting. If you look at the videos made by the creators... (There are only 2 people working on it) It's quite obvious that it's not fake.
