Apologies for my inability to catch up. My great aunt doesn't even have a computer, much less wifi. Can I get a summary of what's happened so far?

I'll continue trying to catch up on my phone, but it's slow going.

I'm still going to need that case from Mastin, but this is enough to warrant my vote. Not a Town response to a wagon, nope nope nope.

^To clarify my 1033, that is OMGUS writ large, with little attempt to qualify or explain the counter-accusation or acknowledge any of the legitimate reasons those "misguided Town" might have for their votes.

PE: Actual responses have started, my vote may already be obsolete. I'll wait for KK's full reactions before removing my vote.

I said that before reading 1034 fully. Looked mostly about Reck, so I was waiting for subsequent posts about others.

Still not fully caught up, but I've got a strong sense in my gut that {mastin, KK} is not Town vs Town. KK, since return, is being more helpful and forthright.

WTF?

Why are you voting if you're not fully caught up?
And (not that I'm looking for votes here but) when did helpfullness and forthrightness become town-tells?

Archive-diving is hard with my current situation. I'll finish my read when I get home Tuesday. As for now, what I have so far plus keeping current with new developments has served me well enough for my current vote.

Honesty and bluntness aren't quite a Town
tell
, but they can be evidence for Town. Between that and muddled, manipulative Mastin, it's enough to make my decision between you...for now.

Hey now, I like being the only one with claim to the title of Mastin's bane. Don't steal my schtick.

In all seriousness, folks, Khan has become today's lynch. I don't like the most recent responses out of him. Though some of his points against mastin are valid, I'm just getting a flailing scum vibe from it all. Plus, if Mastin were the scum, he'd have backed off while the "{Khan, Mastin} = scum" logic was being tamped up, not become its champion.

Additionally, Khan's flip will give us information on mastin, InHim, and Sky, all in one fell swoop.

Reck, what part of "Nothing's wrong with your case" against InHim confused you?

I am not your puppet. I am being the opposite of indecisive.

I will not be bullied and insulted into changing my mind. So stop trying.

KK, I didn't ignore your responses. I read them twice, weighed Mastin vs Khan, and made my decision. The fact that your flip will inform upon the alignment of at least three other players was a significant factor in my decision.

I swear to Odin, DK, I think you're being dense on purpose sometimes.

Jailkeeping protects the target, but it also roleblocks them. Mastin is either the scum's target, or he was their killer.

I'm undecided as to whether he was victim or killer. I need to re-read a bit.

Vote mastin

DK you're a lucky idiot.

No, I was hellbent on breaking the KK/InHim/Mastin triangle. I haven't fully analyzed the flip yet.
Hiraki wrote:I don't see why the scum would make Mastin put in the PM for the kill though.

This is also a large part of my hesitation. That said, I've assigned (and taken) responsibility for making the hit onto the scum most likely to go down the next day. Plus, they knew that the Town's Tracker had just died, so their kill-maker concerns are probably down to just a Watcher, if that.

Like I said, I haven't yet done that re-read and analysis. I'm worried also about a quicklynch here, and the Mastin wagon seems to be growing disproportionally fast.

PE: Reck also has a good point.

I don't see scum trying to off Mastin. He was one of the primary wagons yesterday, and likely to be again. Mastin does this wallposting bit when he's scum just as much as Town. More when he's scum, in fact.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say KK + Silver = Scum.

The persistence with which Hiraki has pursued Silver suggests that Hiraki is Town, and his conviction suggests that he has genuine insight.

I refuse to believe that the KK/Mastin/InHim triangle was all Town.

I never flip-flopped on Khan/Mastin. I said one of them was scum, but I couldn't decide, and I consistently leaned toward Khan. Correctly.

I'm fairly positive of a Scott/Gorilla team. Scott especially because of his shady claims and behavior, but especially because of his recent "we may not be in LyLo, even though the numbers are likely". In my experience, that is a scumTELL. Town can't AFFORD to consider the possibility that we might not be in LyLo right now, on the odds that we are. It is 100% in scum's favor to seed the idea that we can afford another mislynch.

Gorilla's play reminds me an awful lot of 00s Band Mafia. I couldn't put my finger on it then, and I can't now, but I didn't see it coming then until it was too late.

I've had a few stupid-busy days of late, please bear with me. I'm leaning strongly towards a Scott lynch right now, but will withhold my vote because of LyLo etiquette.

Flip flopping is defined by having an errant and changeable opinion, opportunistically reconfiguring to suit your situation. This, I did not do.

I said that one and likely only one scum was in Mastin and KK, but was uncertain of who. I consistently pushed both lynches, as one flip would confirm the other in my mind. Mastin's Town flip directly led to the scumlynch of Kublai Khan.

I didn't flip flop. I carried out precisely the plan of attack on your buddies that I laid out in my first posts. And nailed Khan. Keep digging.

I'm comfortable with this:

I'm quite confident now in Scott. If I'd voted for Town, the "oh I happen to agree" vote followed by the hammer would have come much faster than this.
