I think he's been trying to play too safe and I'm not really seeing how he's super pro-town as he may appear.

First of all, I unvoted mastin because the wagon on him was getting way too big for this early in the game, and I wanted to find a better place to put my vote in.

@Toon Fighter: Can I get on your thoughts on wheter you think Tomie and Hiplop might be mafia? And Edmund as well actually.

My analysis on:

1) Tomie ISO: He seems town enough. I agree with him that Mastin's early game list is useless, but mastin looks town to me, his play style so far is similar to his previous games as town. I think he is asking good and pertinent questions, and is proving a good town player so far.

2) Hiplop ISO: His content seems to be very poor. He is also on the "mastin's lists are evil, kill mastin" group, but to me, the motivation behind his attacks on mastin seem scum-driven. He is providing little content and reasons for his attacks and is not giving good defences against attacks on him. He says mastin making lists trying to make him look town is scummy, but, if someone votes and accuses him for it, it isn't making him look town right?

3) Edmund ISO: Very few posts, too many votes. I don't really see if his posts intentions come from scum or town, but it could be some scum looking for an early wagon to ride to an easy mislynch. But it could also just be a cautious townie. I need to see more posts from him to decide better.

Mastin is prob gambiting town, just like in previous games. However, in previous games, his gambits didn't always end well (remember tricycle mafia? -.-) and can harm town so I'd take them with a grain of salt. In my opinion, mastin should die before LyLo or he can harm town more. But, since I see him as prob town, I don't want to really lynch him unless it's in town's best interest.

Now here in his last sentence, he says that Mastin is prob town but would be satisfied with lynching Mastin if it was in the town's best interest. Town need to make their own statements and stand by them IMO and lynch people they think are scum. This statement makes Toon Fighter one of my top scum reads. I can't believe i didn't see this before.

warriormode, I think that mastin's gambits are anti-town, and I also believe anti-town players are good lynches. So, I advocate that a mastin lynch could be a good lynch if he continues his stupid gambits -.- If he plays good town and doesn't make stupid gambits (Lie detector? come on) I believe he should not be our lynch.

I see there are cases on other players and some discussion around, but I don't have much time now. The next time I'm online I'll decide if I should change my vote or keep it on hiplop.

I disagree with you. I think Mastin's gambits such as the fake claim and the blind scum list he made at the beginning of the game were both

pro-town

, especially the fake claim.

His claim was so obviously fake, that its harmless to us because nobody is going to honestly believe his claim. its not like he claimed something legitimate like a "cop" claim to keep us guessing and then screwing us in the end.

The pro-town part about it is that it drew reactions from some players in this game that i think are likely to be scum (which I want to get to as well), just like his intentions with the fake scum list.

Mastin is a very experienced and skilled player and so far seems to be playing a pro-town role in this game. And also, I think his fake claim could come along handy for later in the game.

I disagree. Maxous was on the hiplop wagon the entire day up until hiplop's reaction to being lynched. and Toon Fighter was scum so it makes complete sense that he was not on that wagon.

Basically half of the people here have joined because of paupum's "scum" rage. While pauper is scummy, my compadre muffinman has stated the difference between a paupam scum/town rage. Has no one answered? Nope.

This post is all about giving himself Town-creed and deflecting attention to ICE. Seemed like a completely unnecessary statement for a town-person to make. pappum's only had 6 votes on him at the time so it wasn't like he was in danger of getting lynched really.

Not more than that. It's common effing sense to not put too many cards on the table, create a strong link between players. If half the wagon on me was scum, then it'd create a strong link between the players, a link that others (especially me, the wagoned, who is very fond of VCA) would scrutinize. It'd be Mugging The Monster, so to speak. It'd be attacking the one guy you never want to attack, since he diverts attention to you and begins to read you. Two scum? Sure, that's proven. Three scum? When they'd already risked as much as they had? When it was very probable that the wagon would be analyzed and people would form the conclusion that it was scum-driven?

There is nothing in the normal rules against that role, Grey. It's an investigation-type role. It's also quite a weak ability.

That's EXACTLY the sort of role that the normal games try to get away from. Like, what if Hiraki says "hiphop is scum." Does your lie detector get "False" if Hiiphop is town, true if he's scum? Or does it go off what Hiraki knows? What if I post a list of 5 names and say 1 or more is scum. Do we have five confirmed townies if you get 'false?'

It's a theme game ability, through and through.

He obviously has the ability to double vote (proven D2), but why did he not just claim doublevoter?
Furthermore, why didn't scum just kill him Night 2? Wouldn't it make sense for scum to kill someone that would seem confirmed town?

My theory is: Since GreyICE has double voting powers he should be using this ability now, but he's isn't. He only used it once on Maxous for a lynch.

To convince me of being just a doublevoter or "votestealer", I need to see him use this ability again and (when I mean again I mean NOW). Otherwise, I believe GreyICE only has a limited amount of shots on doublevoting. There's no way he's an X-shot doublevoter that seems stupid. The only role that seems fitting for GreyICE is a Jack of All Trades which is indeed a scum role for sure.
