All I am is a neighborizer, but there are certain restrictions on it: first off, it's only one-shot (something I didn't realize until later when I went to go re-read my role PM [post 90, iso 25]). Secondly, it will work on members of the alliance. Thirdly, it will not work on members of the horde. Lastly, it [redacted] on members of the Scarlet Monastery.

My original plan to confirm myself was to just neighborize the same person over and over again, thus confirming that I couldn't be performing the kill AND neighborizing people in the same night. Then I saw that it was a one-shot ability, and cursed aloud to myself. So, now my ability is nothing more than a weak one-shot investigation, which is why I wanted the claims so that I could try to hit someone within a faction group and see the results to determine their faction alignment. I'm not sure at this point if it'd be smart to reveal [redacted] or not before the rest of the people claim. Thoughts?

Fate's Relentless(ly Obnoxious) Assault on Me:

By the time his first non-confirmation post of the game rolls around, he's already dismissing me as scum and trying to woo Parama to his cause. He also completely misreads my "fuck the alliance" post as me trying to say "fuck the Parama/Fate alliance" when I meant "fuck the Alliance" because I'm Horde. This is just the first place where he has twisted something I've said in order to specifically make me look scummy.

He produces no real content, tells RBT to claim, and votes me. Iso 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 are all just him emptily calling me scum without a single shred of content whatsoever. By this time, we're 170 posts into the game and he has yet to even so much as broach an actual reason for voting me. When he finally makes his case, it's terrible:

For the first part, I'm uncomfortable in my own posting because I'm trying to tone it down a bit ever since everyone started getting butthurt over my usual playstyle. And Fate knows just as well as I do that this has come up quite a bit in Mafia Discussion recently.

For the second part, you can read plenty of games with Parama & I where I don't have six town reads by page one (I can provide links if you guys want). I swear to god, having a few games where I steamroll as town suddenly means if I'm not on fire or something, I have to be scum. It's bullshit.

For the third part, yes, I'm focused on finding A/H claims. It's relevant to my ability, as I've now already claimed. For someone who is yelling about me not doing any real hunting, Fate has done absolutely zero and instead has spent the whole game just tunneling. And that's "tunneling" in the truest definition: locked onto me his first post of the game, does nothing but call me scum and find ways to twist every post around into me being scum with no real backing or evidence.

#2) We know how night actions work. IHSIB said they would be run generally the same as last game, which went as follows:

3 scum alive = better ability

One-shot anything doesn't fit in with that schema which is why I was more inclined to say Paramatown. Even last game, the votesteal ability I had worked once per day as long as three scum were alive IIRC.

He saw that I destroyed Psychic Mafia and was 100% right about my reads in Pick Your Power. He has maybe seen me be right before, but he has never seen how truly scary I can be when I'm on top of my game. Coming into this, if Fate drew a scum PM, it would make sense that the FIRST THING he'd want to do is get rid of me so that he wouldn't have to deal with the threat of me catching onto him. So he starts tunneling on one of the strongest town players in the start of the game, then spins around and buddies up HARD to Parama and Seacore, two other incredibly strong players. That's not to insult anyone else on the list -- but objectively, me/Fate/Parama/Seacore are the most bolstered/loud/toughest players on the list.

Fate got scared when he drew that scum PM against me. So he employed the tactic of tunneling on me and shouting complete nonsense to try and paint me as scummy. He threw as much shit as possible at me until one or two things stuck, then ignored any explanation or rebuttal I tried to give him.

A kill was stopped last night, and none of these things explain it. Massclaim would either confirm a townie who got protected (which could be a power role and give us useful information) OR catch a scum who got blocked (which could unconfirm a power role and give us useful information).

Also, this game clearly cannot progress or stabilize because you continually come back to attack me and tunnel on me and refuse to allow there to be an environment in which people can actually scumhunt. It kinda kills my will to fight when I have three votes on me based off of absolutely nothing. I never lied about my role, I never changed my story, and yet suddenly it's a huge deal that I was a one-shot.

He probably didn't realize how odd the roles were going to be and just claimed "Doctor" and then a random ability. Rejuevantion is a HoT spell anyway and doesn't exactly fit with the doc claim.

Fate, your theory is shit if Brian is scum. Out of all the claims, I find his the least believable. Him being scum means that Hinduragi is CONFIRMED as a jailkeeper, and then we can enter the WIFOM of whether or not I was the target or the killer.

I have a hard time determining if this is you being derptown or you being idiotic scum, because I don't have a frame of reference for EITHER. What I do know is that every claim so far has been a variation on a standard role:

I'm a weird hybrid of neighborizer/weak cop.
Hinudragi is some kind of conditional jailkeeper.
Seacore is a motherfucking voyeur/weak watcher.
Parama is a three-shot vig with two night shots and one day shot.
smargaret was a cumulative cop or something.

And then Brian is just a... doctor.

You could be scum with him for all I know. This could be an elaborate chain of night action claims (Brian protected you; Valern cleared Brian; you bussed Valern) setup by the three of you for all I know. What I do know, though, is that Brian's claim is the odd one out. While I do believe we may have scum somewhere in our list of power roles, I know it isn't me, and I have to think it's either Hindu/Brian. Nothing else makes sense, and Brian's claim makes even less sense.

Fate, stop screaming. Seriously, it's ruining the game, and you're dead wrong and just jumping from point to point without any basis or foundation behind your case.

I genuinely want out of this game. It's nothing but a screaming bitchfest between Fate & I and it makes it impossible to actually get any solid reads on any other players. Just when I thought it was safe to go back in the water, Fate starts tunneling on me again and ruins the game.

If you're not scum and I'm not scum, then it would likely fall to one of Hindu/Brian and... someone else. Starbuck's activity levels are godawful, so it's impossible to actually catch her if she's scum. Her passive "meh" attitude toward this game seems to make me think she's town here, though. This also leaves us with Seacore/Friend/Parama. I would put Parama as more likely to be scum above Seacore & Friend, but only because after my SUPER PROTOWN VOTESTEAL HAMMER GAMBIT from last game, I would not put it past Parama to use a scumkill ability on his own partner.

Wait, no, we still don't have a counterclaim to Parama, so he's at least ability confirmed, right? Unless I'm missing something, I can't see how scum would be able to use multiple kills in the same night. If Parama kills again, I'll completely buy his claim, as scum will be down a member and Parama has claimed he has one shot left.

No, I'd prefer a Brian lynch for several reasons.

#1) I still don't like the doctor claim.
#2) He is refusing to give specifics on his role when everybody else has fullclaimed by now.
#3) Any kind of randomization on who he can protect seems odd and out of place in this game.
#4) He admits that neither you nor I make sense as nightkill targets, but then goes on to say he protected you because you were a high profile player and thus a likely nightkill target.
