Seacore, I think you're reaching. Kiwi doesn't sound scum, he sounds confused town. He's reacting poorly to pressure, which is interesting, but also doesn't mean that much given his join date. I just don't see how he could claim properly and then think everyone in the game was human - I think there's some misinterpreting/misrepping going on, and I think Seacore is really reaching with the deflection from Valern argument.

Kiwi, why do you keep bringing up post restrictions (you've done so twice, that's not just idle joking)? Did you read the previous game? And would you please put your comments outside of the quote box; it makes it very difficult to follow the conversation back and forth.

Hindu's meta at least applies to Reck himself and not Hoopla, and since I've used much the same argument already, I clearly think that it's not too bad as far as meta goes.

Fate, can you give a read on someone without referencing Reck? What's your stance on Kiwi/Seacore; you've been awfully quiet there?

I think Parama's probably safe to clear; dayvig is much more powerful than a votesteal (the odds that it could be used in LyLo are incredibly slim since all the scum would have had to survive, and dayvig doesn't require getting someone to L-1 first) and giving scum an extra kill is a little much.

I'm catching up; we had heat indices up to 109F and had to run to my in-laws to avoid heat stroke, but I'll be caught up within the next couple of hours.

The plan went something along the lines of... neighborize my most vocal opponent, show that I couldn't have submitted the NK that night... then neighborize again... and again... and again... and again. And the only person who would know my plan for confirming would be my most vocal opponent, aka Fate.

After I realized it was one-shot I decided it's better off used as a scumhunting device.

PREDIT: Nope, not responding to Fate anymore until he decides to actually respond to me.

This ... doesn't even work. There's presumably more than one scum in the game, so not doing the nk tonight doesn't actually prove anything. Reck, you're a better player than this.

I'm starting to lean towards Reckscum, but I want some serious explanation for how Reck could be "mod-confirmed' scum from Fate.

BTW, Reck's whole "/w" power is still sketchy to me. Last game, all the powers were actual abilities (Mark of the Wild, Arcane Intellect, etc.) inHim might have switched it up, but I still have my doubts.

I'm definitely not asking for "/dance" or whatever to come forward with a claim. We have way too many claims for D1 as it is. Don't want to give the scum a blueprint to the town.

This. Last game, the abilities were attributes of our characters; /w sounds like an attribute of a flesh and blood player.

Tempted to say kiwi is definitely town. I feel like there's a goldmine of scum on the major wagons though.

Ellibereth is probably town, too. Parama less so, but still townier than [Fate/Seacore/Friend/Valern/smargaret/Hinduragi].

Here's the thing:

#1) Fate hasn't caught Reckscum to the best of my knowledge, and in fact I can recall times Fate & I have been wrong about each other.

#2) We know how night actions work. IHSIB said they would be run generally the same as last game, which went as follows:
1 scum alive = nightkill
2 scum alive = ability
3 scum alive = better ability

One-shot anything doesn't fit in with that schema which is why I was more inclined to say Paramatown. Even last game, the votesteal ability I had worked once per day as long as three scum were alive IIRC.

#3) As I said, my ability is terrible. Just terrible. I hate it. Make me a VT for fuck's sake over this shit.

. The one-shot doesn't clear Parama (he may be scum anticipating bussing a buddy), but I think the day-vig probably does.

I think what makes me most uncomfortable is the way Reck's claim changed, especially after all the different things he claimed last game.

I'm not playing to the investigative style because I hadn't planned on using it to investigate, I had planned on using it to confirm myself every night... then I reread and saw I was one-shot.

Factional claims being before or after is a moot point -- now, scum are locked into a claim. It's rather moot. I can't comment on the flavor of my claim, because it's what the mod fucking gave me. I mean, if that's lynchworthy, go for it, and we can all just bitch at the mod post-game for not being consistent with the flavor.

In any case, whatever. The role is underpowered. I said this already. Multiple times. I said it's basically useless but the only way I *can* use it now is as a last-ditch investigative power. Neighborizer is a fucking terrible ability.

So, essentially, the one thing you really agree with on me being scum comes from the one thing I cannot defend or control.

Why would you be interested in confirming yourself over investigating? You're a strong enough player you should be able to confirm yourself by your daygame; an investigation sounds like it would be more useful to town. Scum want to be "confirmed", especially after we lost the last game by process of elimination.

There's a lot of mindless wagoning going on in this game, and I'm not clear on why I'm the current target. I don't buy Valern's claim; my second lynch choice would probably be Seacore - the "well I screwed up yesterday" thing just seems a bit too much like gloating, and it was painfully obvious Kiwi was just new, not scum. Elli is coming off as very town, and I believe Reck is telling the truth as well. Fate is all over the place; I'm leaning scum on him for the scummy rolefishy massclaim proposal and (to a lesser extent) the gambit yesterday. I don't remember anything about friend, Brian, Hindu, or Starbuck.

im a goblin rogue i have ability time is money basically im cop can investigate every night but can only get resukts twice results will come from every night sction ive made so far (ie if no report til d3 will get 3 results). last night got inno on elli hence numerous post about ellitown. also see post saying we have too many investigative roles because i have at least 2 shots to clear and reck has one and valrn is op with these roles. also see buddying and distancing from what looks like a pretty inevitable lynch. also posting from kindle dont expect more than this until this evening when i can get to a computer
