I think it is actually beneficial for town to LYNCH until they have lynched one mime, as 1 mime does not make the mimes win. At which point they should start vig shooting.

Remember, scum can kill mimes too.

The vigilante has a 40% chance of offing some form of scum N1 (2 mimes, 2 mafia, 6 other players). The vigilante has a 10% chance of hitting the watcher (1 PR in 10 possible shots).

I like our chances with the vigilante, but I *don't* like our chances with the scum hitting one of our PRs.

However, scum have a 14% chance of hitting the vigilante N1 and we won't get another shot. No lynching might be the way to go.

My point being it is beneficial for vig to claim at this stage. Watcher on vig, scum can't target vig unless they are willing to lose one, or they are willing to CC watcher. and then if 1 watcher has a guilty on the guy who CCs him, it makes it easy, you lynch them both, starting with the one who has a guilty read on him.

If someone who the watcher DIDNT see kill the vig ccs, then we lynch one of their guilties to determine scum, and catch two scum in the process.

One point against it is that if the watcher gets NK'd, the vig is obviously next. But this also means the vig is guaranteed to say alive and thus be protected from NKs, and if the watcher doesn't get killed, we could have confirmed town in LYLO. Even if the watcher dies the night before LYLO, we'd still have the vig confirmed and alive the next day.

Plus there's always the WIFOM of "WHAT IF THE WATCHER DOESN'T PROTECT THE VIG" which is super fun for scum.
