To answer my own questions:
1. Town. The sense of satisfaction when you catch scum is priceless.
2. GMT +10
3. Doctor

On the whole Maru-conf-town thing, I'm guessing Maru is probably town. As Umbrage said, scum wouldn't buddy each other so obviously, especially this early in the game. Although I still wouldn't rule out the possibility of DRK being scum, trying to score town points with Maru (and the rest of the town).

Its the third time I have heard this argument, Scum supposedly answer questions so as to get off topic on useless tangents that distract town.

However, every time I have seen them asked, it causes town interaction, like so. The refusal to answer makes you curious, so you ask why, then they have to explain the nit starts back-and-forth.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the asker of the questions to be scum? Although I see your point, we shouldn't be getting into pointless arguments when we could be scumhunting.

@DRK - It says RQS is good, but only if you ask good questions.

@Haoala - The only notable thing that's happened is DRK's town thing on Maru, which hasn't really done too much for me, other than give me a townread on Maru.

Anyway you look at it, Maruchan is probably town. For example:
1. If DRK was scum and Maru was town, DRK would put the claim out the to earn towncred with Maru, and the rest of the town.
2. If DRK was town and Maru was scum... Well, since our roles aren't bastard, we can assume this could never happen.
3. If they were both scum, this would be a bad play by them, as buddying that obviously would get them both killed in the end.
4. They could both be town.

1 and 4 are the most likely out of these answers, and in both scenarios Maru is town

We did play one game where I was town and you were scum, but I failed to read you all game. When I thought you were town you were scum.

Keep in mind the last time I played with you was the newbie queue, which requires a little more understanding than anywhere else.

Oops, missed the "Elaborate" on my understanding in newbie posts. Explaining now.
The newbie queue is for people who are new to mafia. I don't usually attack them the same way there because they'd probably start to think I'm some ogre.
Also, the fact that you wouldn't tell us your scumread, plus the fact that you had to "line up" the tells make you seem all the scummier. Let me explain...
You get attacked for not scumhunting (among other things) --> You tell us you have a suspect, but not say who it is --> You're called out for scum due to that too --> You have to "line up" your info before you even get a case.

Maru, your "gamebreaking" plan isn't so good. Let me list a few possible scenarios for you, in order of likelyhood.
1) Scum kill you.
2) You are RBed
3) No-one visits you because you're PGO
4) Everyone visits you and scum make no attempt to stop you

Basically, if town don't have a protective role that doesn't block, i.e. jailkeeper, you're screwed. Which makes it sound like your scum as scum wouldn't need to be protected because they're scum.

Didn't think of reflex role-cop. But still. If he's rolecop, why would he want us to target him? We'd all be wasting our 1-shots. Or even if not 1-shot, we'd be wasting a valuable night of targeting! Town should be trying to find scum, not other town. Well. That strategy sometimes works, but not when wasting PRs.
Maru, I'm liking you less and less the more I think about it.

P-EDIT: Urg, things are just getting more complicated. If he outs, mafia will know exactly what's going on. If he doesn't, I'll continue to think he's scum.

From the way Maru's been talking, Ii doubt it would be role cop. Scum wouldn't target him, unless they're killing / RBing him, defeating the purpose of the excercise.

Which part did you want me to reread? If I took it alone, without any of this stuff that Maru's been saying lately, I'd say he was town, but recent events have made me think more drstically

You know whate AtE (Appeal to Emotion) is, right? Well AtR (Appeal to Ridicule) is kinda like that. For example, a statement along the lines of "Captain Corporal couldn't be scum, that would just be stupid!" is AtR, and is considered scummy. In addition to AtE and AtR, there are AtA (appeal to authority) and AtL (this is a good one, appeal to logic).
