Hey there! I'm fully recovered from my weekend away and ready to start playing Has Day 1 started yet, or is it still pre-game?
On a side note, it looks like I missed RVS (or a close you can get to RVS in pre-game). Either way, some random questions can never hurt...

1. Town. The sense of satisfaction when you catch scum is priceless.

On the whole Maru-conf-town thing, I'm guessing Maru is probably town. As Umbrage said, scum wouldn't buddy each other so obviously, especially this early in the game. Although I still wouldn't rule out the possibility of DRK being scum, trying to score town points with Maru (and the rest of the town).

Mego is scum. Making up specific numbers is scummy. Really pushing the DRK thing as a ploy seems forcefully distracting.

I don't think anything really needs to be said about this, except for addressing the numbers thing. The math was very complicated in coming up with that. First, I took the most hilarious number ever: 42. Then, I added the least hilarious number to it, 20. Therefore, 62. If you can't follow, I'll try to explain it later.

Regarding all the votes on me: There is one person in this game whose innocence I can prove, and who can prove mine. Unfortunately, they have yet to show up. Lynch me if you wish, but consider this in your decisions.

Answering RQS questions to appear to be cooperating with the town, then a remark which doesn't make sense to me, followed by calling a vote OMGUS and then voting for someone whom he hasn't even mentioned. The last line just seems off to me, as if he is feeling forced to give some reads when he already knows everyone's alignment.

Exactly. You're not overtly pushing the lynch, you're testing the waters. You want to know which way town will go before you make a firm stance.

Ironically, I too dislike PBPAs. However, he only has 5 posts, and I felt that a PBPA was the best way to show why I think he's scum. If you want reasons outside the context of a PBPA, just read what I wrote and ignore the quotes

I really don't see the issue with the PBPA but anyways... I find him scummy because he hasn't posted much content, but he's made it look like he's scumhunting. Both of the players he's voted for were already under suspicion, and when he was asked for his reasoning, he just said "look at your iso" or something like that, which is not a reason.

I've re-read this thread a few times and it's hard to follow.

There is one thing that stands out, though. Nikanor's bouncing around, voting for no reason, and making a fool of himself, but nobody seems to mind. Why is this?

I figured that was just his way of scumhunting. If anyone familiar with his meta wants to chime in, I'll take a look, but right now I have him neutral maybe leaning town.

I would say almost assuredly that there's not a second mafia team because the flip just says Mafia. I've never, ever, ever, ever seen or heard of a game with multiple scum teams where they just flip Mafia.

This post actually seems really, really scummy to me. First off, the unnecessary vote on diddin, which is more of a null tell, but rubs me the wrong way. Trying to say that haoala's apology is scummy is laughable, and might be an attempt at accrediting BBmolla's case. Then the already mentioned comment about two mafias, which sounds to me like scum trying to sound town by proposing an idea about the scum and the setup. Then defending BBmolla.

I can actually see a BBmolla + 2birds scumteam right now.

If we weren't already in twilight I would be voting one of these guys right now. I'd have to read back a little bit to decide who, but probably 2birds.

Didn't think of that. However, we know this game is vanilla-less (IIRC?), and the town has masons. That means that 4 scum (even with a flipped JoaT) isn't out of the question.

I didn't think it was reasonable for one to expect the quick self hammer. I found the implication that you could see the quick self hammer coming scummy. Maybe that happens more often than I thought it does, in which case I apologise for the accusation.

I definitely liked the flavor, and the setup seemed interesting. Sucks that you had to end the game prematurely.
